Migrant "Angel" from south-of-the-border murders Chinese restaurant owner Yuechan Gong - arrested near Bloomington Manuel Dagoberto Angel-Monterrosa was fired a few days before the beating death of restaurant owner Yuechan “Susan” Gong was arrested near Bloomington, Ind.
Angel-Monterrosa was charged with Gong’s murder, the complaint alleges he beat Gong to death in her home on Oct. 22. A hammer was found near her body. Gong’s ex-husband, Yu Tian Li, with whom she still lived and ran China King Buffet, discovered her body in the home’s kitchen. A co-worker from the restaurant said Angel-Monterrosa was from El Salvador but that his family lives in Guatemala. - (Brewski) - "just doing the work that Americans do not wish to do" |

The suspects are said to be in their 20s. Two of them are described as black, one with short hair and a gold earring in his left ear. Police: Black housekeeper tortured and murdered over alleged missing money  Household Chemicals, Bleach Reportedly Poured Down Woman's Throat.
Police got a tip that a body was buried in an unmarked grave. When investigators began questioning people, they learned that Wenda Wright who was a housekeeper for Margaret Allen had allegedly been killed in the house and transported to some nearby woods. "Chemicals were poured into her mouth, duct tape was placed over her mouth, so this was not a fast death. Allen, 39 told investigators that she killed Wright because she thought she had stolen her purse containing $2,000. - (Gman) |

One is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 140 pounds. The suspect with the handgun is said to be approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. Black serial killer Derrick Todd Lee Won't Stand Trial for Attempted Rape and Murder of White woman    She is the only woman to have been attacked by serial killer Derrick Todd Lee and lived to tell about it. So not surprisingly, Dianne Alexander's testimony helped Baton Rouge prosecutors secure back-to-back convictions against Lee. Lee received a life sentence in the murder of Geralyn DeSoto and the death penalty for the rape and murder of Charlotte Murray Pace. But, Lee will not stand trial for the attempted rape and murder of Alexander . |
Spanish-speaking Family Won't Press Charges In Statuatory Rape Case against Carlos Roberto Fuentes-Lopez  Raleigh police said Carlos Roberto Fuentes-Lopez, a member of the New Life Baptist Church's Hispanic Ministry congregation is
alleged to have inappropriate sexual contact with the 14-year-old female victim. The victim, her family and the suspect are all native Spanish speakers. Neither the victim nor her family wanted to see Fuentes-Lopez in jail. They
never filed charges and said they do not want to press charges against him now but "If police officers feel a crime has been committed, it's their duty to pursue those instances." Meanwhile, Hispanic church leaders are concerned about any potential negative reflection on their congregation. |
Angel Juarez charged in rape of 9-year-old girl  Angel Juarez, 31, was arrested Friday and charged with sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl. Juarez was charged with five counts of rape, five counts of sodomy first degree, and one count of sexual abuse first degree, the Boone County Sheriff's Office said. Detectives were investigating Juarez on an unrelated sex charge when they uncovered the alleged abuse of the 9-year-old, the sheriff's office said. - (Citizenship status of suspect not reported.) |
