Wisconsin:
Woman saved from rape in park MADISON,
Wis. -- Police arrested a 'man' after he allegedly tried to rape a woman in Olin
Park last night. Alfred L. Jones is in the Dane County Jail on attempted
second-degree sexual assault charges. Police said a person heard the woman screaming
shortly before 10 p.m. and interrupted Jones attempting to assault the woman.
He fled on foot and was stopped nearby about an hour later and arrested. -

Footballer Jimmy Abram convicted of raping University student that was passed
out Jimmy
Abram was convicted earlier this year of sexual assault in Beaumont, Texas.
He had been accused of having non-consensual sex with a Lamar University student
while she was passed out. Update:
Ball Player Sentenced for Rape - No

Worth: Arrest made in sexual assault A
man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman outside the downtown Fort Worth YMCA
was arrested in Oklahoma. A sheriff's deputy stopped Joe Franklin, 47,
while checking on suspicious activity in a mostly residential area north of downtown
Tulsa. The 24-year-old woman said
she was sexually assaulted as she walked to her car after leaving the YMCA. She
said the YMCA should have called the police when the suspect was spotted peering

North Dakota: Sudanese "lost boy" refugee pleads innocent
to rape charges FARGO,
N.D. - A man accused of sexually assaulting
two teenage girls, 14 and 16 years
old, after supplying them with alcohol has pleaded not guilty. Chol Deng Chol,
25, is charged with two felony counts of gross sexual imposition, including soliciting
minors, and one misdemeanor count of delivering alcohol to a minor. His preliminary
hearing was Thursday in East Central District Court. Authorities have said he

Police seek suspect Juan Francisco Lopez in rape of 15-year-old girl Police
are asking for the public's help in locating Juan Francisco Lopez, 21,
who is charged with sexual assault of a child. Police said the the
victim, 15, was in front of her home waiting for her sisters. The girl
said the suspect drove by her home, returned and ordered her into his vehicle.
After the suspect initially sexually assaulted the girl, he started to drive her
to another location, the witness said. When he stopped his vehicle at a stop sign,

D. Isom Jr., a car salesman is accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old
woman. The victim went to a car dealership and was met by Wardell. He took her
name and address Two days later, Isom called her around 9 p.m. When she opened
the door, Isom tried to kiss her. She tried to push him away, but he allegedly

Dark Ohio Man Arrested; Accused Of Kidnap, Rape and strangling woman DAYTON,
Ohio -- A man is behind bars Friday accused of kidnapping, raping and strangling
a 21-year-old Dayton woman. Police said the attack allegedly happened in a car
behind a garage. A neighbor heard the woman scream and then witnessed the assault.
The neighbor immediately called police and officers said Nathaniel Johnson
Jr., 29, was captured in the act. Johnson was taken to the Montgomery County
Jail and charged with two counts of rape and one count of kidnapping. |
Curtis L. Allen found guilty Friday of raping two women A
49-year-old man charged with raping three women he befriended near the Wilmington
train station starting in 2002 was found guilty Friday of raping
two of the women. A jury found Curtis L. Allen guilty of first-
and second-degree rape in connection with the assaults March 22, 2003, and Sept.
20, 2002. Allen would befriend women near the train station then lure them to

Warrant Issued former Atlanta Police Chief Eldrin Bell. A
College Park judge has issued an arrest warrant for former Atlanta Police Chief
Eldrin Bell. Charges of assualt and battery were brought by a waitress
at the Feed Store restaurant in College Park. Daphne Wynn claims Bell
kissed her on her neck, leaving a red mark. Bell was police chief from

with stolen identities was sentenced to up to seven years in prison. Internet
service provider Earthlink Inc. said it hoped the sentence and an earlier $16.4
million civil judgment against Howard Carmack will deter other spammers.

Man
arrested in rape, beating of pregnant woman FORT
WORTH - A registered sex offender who was convicted of raping a woman in 1991
is back in jail, this time accused of severely
beating, robbing and raping a pregnant woman who had given him a ride.
Carl Redic, 32, was being held in the Mansfield Jail on Thursday with bail
set at $625,000. He faces charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated sexual
assault, aggravated robbery and failing to register as a sex offender. -

Suspect Tyrone Raymond Caught In Indiana  HAHNVILLE,
La. -- There was a break this weekend in the four-year-old case of a Laplace cab
driver who was killed on Easter Sunday 2004. Deputies on Sunday arrested Tyrone
Raymond, 29, in the death of Janice Fugate,
61. Raymond had lived next door to Fugate, and has been implicated in her death

-- A 19-year-old Cary woman was found dead in a dorm room at UNC-Wilmington on

Hall, a co-ed, predominantly freshman dorm. Officials would not say how Faulkner,
