Pack of black teens beat homeless White man to death Police continued to search Friday for a group of teenagers who beat a homeless man to death on a street as passersby slowed to watch, Anthony Waters, 42, suffered a lacerated spleen and broken ribs and died at Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center after the attack Wednesday night. The young attackers were described as black teenagers possibly as young as 13 or as old as 18. Stacho estimated their ages at between 15 and 17. Black allegedly shot and killed his ex-wife in front of their 11-year-old daughter at a YMCA  The man who police say shot and killed his ex-wife in front of their children at a Montclair YMCA swim class Thursday night, remains at large this morning. Montclair Deputy Police Chief Perry Mayers said the killer, Kenneth Anton Duckett, 37, the father of the dead woman's two children, fled the scene and was last seen in a white jeep. The woman -- Montclair resident Monica Paul, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene. Black door-to-door-salesman tried to grab 13-year-old girl off her bicycle A man arrested after police said he tried to grab a 13-year-old girl riding her bike home from an ice-cream stand will remain held without bail at least through Friday, when a hearing into whether he poses a danger to the public is held. At his arraignment Jerwayne Hunter, 25, a traveling magazine salesman, pleaded not guilty to charges of child enticement, accosting, assault and battery, and peddling without a license. The girl told police she was riding her bike home from Dick & June's and was on a path behind the Stop & Shop on Elliott Street when a man jumped out of the bushes, "firmly" grabbed her arm and asked, "Where's your license?" Black Registered Sex Offender Charged In Rape of Girl, 10 TAMPA - A registered sexual offender released from prison in November was arrested Sunday on a charge of raping a 10-year-old girl. Byron Simmons, 29, was arrested just before 4 a.m. Sunday and charged with sexual battery of a child less than 12 years old. Simmons, 2404 N. 11th St., Tampa, picked up the victim from her home and drove her to Copeland Park on North 15th Street at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Authorities said advanced technology led them to James J. Hollis, who they said killed Mary Cook inside her Corwin Street home. . Cook’s body was discovered in her bedroom on July 21, 1990. Black arrested for rape of 16-year-old high school girl  Norman detectives have arrested a suspect in the reported rape of a 16-year-old Norman High School student. Jackie Ray Sullivan, 31, of Norman, was arrested and booked on suspicion of first-degree rape and forcible sodomy. Detectives arrested Sullivan after interviewing him at the Norman police station. Jesse Dajuan Miles, 19, is named in arrest warrants charging two counts of rape, two counts of aggravated assault as well as domestic assault, simple assault, robbery and criminal contempt of court. 55-Year-Old Negro Charged With Raping 8-Year-Old Girl Authorities charged a 55-year-old Delaware man Sunday, saying he's been raping an 8-year-old girl regularly since last November. Police took Benjamin Sudler into custody at his North Market Street home in Wilmington on Sunday afternoon. A computer check revealed Sudler was wanted by several Delaware courts, although they did not mention what his alleged previous offenses were. Homeless Negro Accused Of Raping Girl, 11 DETROIT -- A homeless man charged with pulling an 11-year-old girl into an abandoned duplex in Detroit and raping her had to be separated from other prisoners, for his own safety once they learned he was facing a charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in the little girl's rape. Kevin Bernard Meredith, 47, was arraigned and is being held on a $100,000 cash bond. The alleged attack happened on Sunday, May 18, as the victim left her aunt's house and was on her way to play at a park. Negro started sexually assaulting her when she was 8 years old An Orange Lake black has been arrested and charged with committing sex acts on a 14-year-old girl, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Lee Curnel Hunt, 33, allegedly assaulted the child, who is now 14, over the last six years. Hunt was arrested after a North Marion Middle School resource officer reported the crime. The victim originally reported the case in 2004, but she recanted her statements and Hunt avoided charges. The girl said that two months after the charges were dropped against Hunt, he started engaging in sex acts with her again. "She confided in a friend this time," Riggins said, "and she told the school resource officer. That's how we learned of it." The girl said that Hunt last assaulted her during spring break two weeks ago. She said Hunt started assaulting her when she was 8 years old. - (Newsroom) |
Teen girl raped for 5 years by black boyfriend of foster mother  19-year old Crystal Davis is breaking her silence about years of sexual abuse she claims at the hands of her foster care provider, 70-year old Lawrence Bright. Bright was her foster mother’s boyfriend. “Anytime my mom wasn’t home and sometimes maybe she was there and she like had no clue but most of the time it’s when she wasn’t there,” said Davis.The girl told of years of abuse she claims began when she was just 13. Negro charged with rape of child Gates Police Officer, Brian Ritchie, arrested 30-year-old Lawayne Turner of Gates for having sexual intercourse with a child who was known to him. Turner is charged with rape in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child. The 46-year-old is charged with three counts of rape and three counts of sexual battery. Prosecutors say Simpson insisted on taking pictures of woman's injuries from an assault in October. Negro sentenced to death for slaughter of White 10-year-old girl and her family   A Tulsa man who was convicted last month of three murders in Owassowas formally sentenced to three death sentences. The Judge set an execution date for Clarence Goode Jr. Jurors found Goode, 31, guilty of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Kayla Burchett, 10, a Collinsville fifth-grader; her mother, Tara Burchett-Thompson, 25; and the slain woman's husband, Mitch Thompson, 28. Their bodies were found Aug. 26, 2005, at the couple's home. The jury imposed a death sentence on each murder count, and Goode received a concurrent 20-year term for first-degree burglary. He has maintained that he is innocent. Co-defendant Kenneth D. Johnson faces a Feb. 19 trial on the same charges. Wichita Black Pleads No Contest to Murder of 79-year-old White woman  The man accused of killing elderly community activist Evelyn Middlestadt has pleaded "no contest" to felony murder. Benjamin Fish will be sentenced in late March. Middlestadt was found dead in her Wichita business with bruises to her face and chest. Authorities arrested Van Roger Smith Jr., 16, and Sherrod Nicholas Harrison, 19, Monday afternoon. After a search, the Moore County Sheriff's Office took Michael Graham Currie, 18, into custody Monday night. All three teens were charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of breaking and entering. All are from Cameron. Twelve-year-old Emily Elizabeth Haddock was shot to death Friday in her home on Marks Road outside of Vass, authorities said. The girl had stayed home from school with strep throat and was alone. Smiling Black pleads not guilty to running down a white family in McDonald's parking lot - killing 2-year-old   The black man accused of running down five white family members and killing a 2-year-old girl in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant in Covington last May pleaded not guilty. Lanny Perry Barnes, 46, attended the 15-minute arraignment hearing wearing street clothes and no expression on his face. Sitting behind him was Stephanie Casola, the mother who was hit, along with her two sons, niece, and sister, by Barnes' vehicle. Witnesses told police that Barnes struck the family, backed up, smiled, and drove into them again. Casola's niece, Avery King, died of her injuries. Black Sex Offender Charged With Kidnap-Rape-Kill of White 11-year-old Jacksonville Girl In 1996  Fla. -- A Connecticut sex offender will be returned to Florida to face a murder charge after being linked to the decade-old rape and drowning of an 11-year-old girl through a database of DNA from convicted sex offenders. Robert Shelton Mitchell, 43, was being held on a $5 million bond after being arraigned as a fugitive. He will face first-degree murder and capital sexual battery charges in the death of Cherie Morrisette of Jacksonville. The Mandarin Middle School student body was found on Dec. 8, 1996, floating in the St. John's River about 10 miles south of the apartment she shared with her mother and sister. An autopsy determined that Cherie drowned shortly after her disappearance on Dec. 2, 1996, and was alive when she either fell into the river or was thrown in. Police labeled the death suspicious, and authorities found a small DNA sample on her underwear and body. Mitchell lived in nearby Middleburg at the time of the girl's death, police said Thursday. Police were searching Friday night for a man they believe set a fire in an apartment to escape a neighborhood crowd that chased him after a woman called out that he had sexually assaulted her daughter. Jeremy Dontae Craft, 21, is considered armed and dangerous, The man ran into an apartment and barricaded himself inside, Henderson said. "Craft then set the apartment on fire as a distraction in order to escape the mob that was after him," Henderson said. The witnesses said they heard a loud noise, and the windows of the apartment were blown out by a fiery blast.
