Darryl McGhee, 49, faces charges of failure to report a deadly accident, leaving the scene of a deadly accident, driving without insurance and not yielding to a pedestrian. Heartless black steals memorial service money from 88-year-old man   Police said they are closing in on a bank robber who stole $300 from a man withdrawing money for a memorial service for his wife. The wife of the man who was robbed died on Christmas Day. The victim had withdrawn $500 to pay for the memorial service around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the U.S. Bank located at 1959 Burns Ave. Police said the man took five $100 bills to a table in the bank and was putting them into envelopes when the robber reached over and grabbed three of the $100 bills. - (Newsroom) |

Paul Churchill, 41, admitted to the first-degree rape of a seven-year-old child that he is related to. Tampa police arrest black they say attacked woman Tampa police have arrested a registered sex offender who allegedly attacked a woman he met at a nightclub Friday morning. Tommy Lee Sailor, 37, was arrested. The victim told police she met Sailor early on New Year's Day, and around 4:15 a.m., they returned to his home where he lives with an uncle. Rap producer Shawty Redd charged with murder Music producer Demetrius Lee Stewart, known as Shawty Redd, is being held in a suburban Atlanta jail on a murder charge. Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton says Stewart was arrested Friday morning. Stewart is accused of shooting 35-year-old Damon A. Ray Evers, a police spokesman. "There was some drinking and drug use," Evers said. "An altercation transpired." CLEVELAND, Ohio — Marshals are asking for help to find a 33-year-old man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl. Phillip Barkley is charged with 20 counts of rape, 10 counts of kidnapping and 20 counts of gross sexual imposition. He was indicted on Dec. 18. The 20-year-old woman tells police she met a man named “Chance” on the web site Modelmayhem.com and met him at a Jenkintown restaurant to schedule a shoot. The woman took a train to Bryn Mawr where she was picked up by a man identified as Daimon Parrish: “He convinced her to come to a chiropractic office in King of Prussia for some photographs to be taken.” She told police he took some pictures and then sexually assaulted her before driving her back to Jenkintown. - (Newsroom) |

Police: African Migrant Male Nurse Wanted Elderly Patient 'To Suffer A licensed practical nurse in Montgomery County, who is trusted to care for the elderly, has been arrested after being accused of causing harm to one of his patients. Abiodun Oke worked at the Arista Care at Meadow Springs in Plymouth Meeting. According to court documents, Oke was taking care of an 81-year-old female patient at the facility who suffered from dementia, pneumonia and who has a tracheotomy. The facility has a visual and audible alarm that goes off when a patient's ventilator becomes detached. Fifth sexual assault tied to black postal worker  A fifth sexual assault is now attributed to a former Chicago postal worker. Tommie J. Naylor is charged with the kidnapping and rape of a 16-year-old girl last November, The girl was forced into a car on the 6100 block of South Rockwell. Police say Naylor was with two other assailants who have yet to be identified. Police recently got DNA results from the attack on the teen and matched them to Naylor. After a search, the Moore County Sheriff's Office took Michael Graham Currie, 18, into custody Monday night. All three teens were charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of breaking and entering. All are from Cameron. Twelve-year-old Emily Elizabeth Haddock was shot to death Friday in her home on Marks Road outside of Vass, authorities said. The girl had stayed home from school with strep throat and was alone. Smiling Black pleads not guilty to running down a white family in McDonald's parking lot - killing 2-year-old   The black man accused of running down five white family members and killing a 2-year-old girl in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant in Covington last May pleaded not guilty. Lanny Perry Barnes, 46, attended the 15-minute arraignment hearing wearing street clothes and no expression on his face. Sitting behind him was Stephanie Casola, the mother who was hit, along with her two sons, niece, and sister, by Barnes' vehicle. Witnesses told police that Barnes struck the family, backed up, smiled, and drove into them again. Casola's niece, Avery King, died of her injuries. Black Sex Offender Charged With Kidnap-Rape-Kill of White 11-year-old Jacksonville Girl In 1996  Fla. -- A Connecticut sex offender will be returned to Florida to face a murder charge after being linked to the decade-old rape and drowning of an 11-year-old girl through a database of DNA from convicted sex offenders. Robert Shelton Mitchell, 43, was being held on a $5 million bond after being arraigned as a fugitive. He will face first-degree murder and capital sexual battery charges in the death of Cherie Morrisette of Jacksonville. The Mandarin Middle School student body was found on Dec. 8, 1996, floating in the St. John's River about 10 miles south of the apartment she shared with her mother and sister. An autopsy determined that Cherie drowned shortly after her disappearance on Dec. 2, 1996, and was alive when she either fell into the river or was thrown in. Police labeled the death suspicious, and authorities found a small DNA sample on her underwear and body. Mitchell lived in nearby Middleburg at the time of the girl's death, police said Thursday.
