Emory Carter set a church on fire eight years ago during a black race riot - on Friday he was sent to prison for murder of a White   Eight years ago, Emory Carter set fire to a church during a night of disturbances in St. Petersburg. After Carter wrote a letter of apology, church leaders forgave him and persuaded a judge to spare him from prison. Carter, now 25, was back in court Friday, this time for sentencing in the vicious killing of Mike Kelley during a robbery in St. Petersburg. Carter was not the sorry young man he was after the church fire. He was foul-mouthed and angry. He berated the victim's family, cursed at the judge and asked for the death penalty. "You shut up. F--- you," Carter yelled at Judge Brandt Downey during the sentencing. "Give me my sentence so I can get the f--- out of your ugly face." At one point, Carter spit toward Downey and called him a "filthy dog." "Shut your mouth, b----," Carter yelled at the sister of his victim.. Judge Suspended for Wearing Blackface NEW ORLEANS -- A judge who wore blackface makeup, handcuffs and a jail jumpsuit at a Halloween party will be suspended for six months, the Louisiana Supreme Court ruled Monday. The justices voted 5-2 to suspend Judge Timothy Ellender for a year without pay for dishonoring his position, but to defer half of that penalty. Ellender will lose more than $50,000 in pay, one judge noted. Ellender, who is white, testified the costumes worn by him and his wife -- she was dressed as a policewoman -- were meant only as a joke to show he was her prisoner. | 13 | Jackson police officer wanted in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl now in custody  Jackson police officer Perry Coleman turned himself in and made his first appearance before a judge shielded from cameras. As he was brought into municipal court four Jackson police officers blocked reporters access to get video of him. Normally, cameras are given all access to where offenders are brought into the courtroom. These actions came after a statement from Chief Robert Moore indicating that Coleman would not receive any special treatment. Ex-President of "Historically Black" Morris Brown College President Charged With Fraud  ATLANTA -- The former president of Morris Brown College was charged along with an aide Thursday with swindling federal loan programs out of about $5 million by signing up hundreds of students for loans they didn't want and using the money to pay the school's bills. Dolores Cross, 68, and Parvesh Singh, the 62-year-old former financial aide director at the historically black college, were charged with more than 30 counts of fraud each. Dark suspect in savage rape-murder of White Co-ed dies after sucessful suicide in prison  The man charged with killing a UNC-Wilmington student died after leaping off a staircase onto a hard floor at a prison in an apparent suicide attempt. Curtis Dixon, 21, broke away from a correction officer Wednesday night, ran to the top of a cell block staircase and leaped headfirst to the concrete floor about three levels below.

Southeast Slayings Suspect Caught in La.  MONROE, La. -- A man wanted in Georgia and South Carolina in connection with two killings, a rape and an armed robbery was captured after crashing his stolen car during a police chase, authorities said. Tobias Chano "Toby" Lee, 28, had just gotten off Interstate 20 Tuesday afternoon after a Louisiana state trooper signaled him to pull over for following another vehicle too closely, police said. As the trooper approached the car, Lee sped away, leading to a chase at speeds as high as 90 mph, said Trooper Julie Lewis. Interracial Couple Accused Of Scamming Churches Over the weekend, police in Maury County arrested a couple accused of scamming several area churches. Police say they targeted churches with bogus sob stories and made off with hundreds of dollars in cash and services. The suspects, Patricia Jenkins and Jim Wells, were charged with fraud. The arrest warrant accuses Charles Nelson, 44, of having physical contact with the Pebblebrook High School student at the school's campus in Mableton.

Wanted For Sexual Battery of 10-Year Old Arrested Hampton
police arrested Anthony Maurice Hawthorne charged with aggravated
sexual battery involving a 10-year old
girl. Police say that Hawthorne removed the girl from her home
for a scheduled visitation. Official allege Hawthorne committed several
acts of sexual battery against the child while she was in his custody.
The child's mother contacted police after the girl returned home and told

Gail Goldberg's partially nude body was found strangled in a pickup truck
in 1985 - arrest made Nineteen
years after Donna Gail Goldberg
was found strangled in east Nashville, Metro police charged someone yesterday
with her death. William Douglas Lake III, 43, has been in prison
on an unrelated 1986 homicide sentence, but was booked yesterday on a
first-degree murder indictment in the Goldberg case, police said in a

criminal suspect managed to get away from police in and the search is
on for a man officers say may be armed and dangerous. Police put up a
perimeter to track down Quinton Cummings. Police believe he committed
armed sexual battery. Cummings as a black male, 170 pounds, 5"11"
tall, wearing a black basketball shirt and red shorts. Investigators believe
they may have located the suspect's shorts in a homeowner's backyard.

Faces Rape Charges After 14-Year Old Discovers She's Pregnant A
dirty old black man is facing rape charges after a 14-year old teenager
discovered she was pregnant. 61-year old Eugene Miles Snipes was
arrested after DNA test results determined he was the child's father.
The girl's mother says that she and her daughter discovered the pregnancy
when morning sickness developed. The girl was staying with a relative
- who lives with Snipes - over the summer. The teen's mother says her
daughter is mentally handicapped,
and she believes Snipes took advantage of her while the relative was away.

say 54-year-old James Murray Jr. of Sarasota had illegal sexual involvement
with two 15-year-old girls and one
12-year-old girl.

teen was sitting in a church court yard around 8:00pm on October 26 when a man
approached her and began speaking to her. When the victim began to walk away the
man grabbed her, forced her to the ground and raped her. The victim was able to

as a black male in his late teens to early 20's, 5'8" to 5'10" tall,

Fired
employee charged in Arby's killings 
A fired fast-food restaurant worker in West Milwaukee has been charged with first-degree
murder of two co-workers in a robbery that netted about $2,500. James Walker
was fired from his job at the Arby's five days before the slayings. He allegedly
promised a former co-worker $500 to help him rob the restaurant. Michael Reit,
20, was charged with being an accomplice and was expected to testify against Walker
who dragged Nicole Joslyn and Alan
Lowrie into the freezer and executed them. Police

of Westley Devon Harris, accused of killing
six family members in rural south Alabama, paced outside the courtroom

2002 at their rural homes in Rutledge, about 50 miles south of Montgomery because

Sex
offender indicted on 21 counts including child molestation The
murder of 12-year-old Ashleigh Moore
left Savannah in shock. Investigators think Bobby Buckner, the man who
was living in Ashleigh's home, was involved, but he was never charged. The district
attorney's office indicted Buckner on 21 counts in all, including child molestation.
None of the charges involve Ashleigh. But police say the indictment stems from
information they discovered as they investigated her death. Ashleigh disappeared
from her Southside home in 2003. Right away, they arrested her mother's boyfriend--Buckner--for
a probation violation. He is a convicted sex offender and was not supposed to

Julian, 85 Death
sentence appeal Friday - On January 23, 2003, the bodies of Florence
McKinnon, 81, and her husband, Julian,
85, were found in their Tanglewood Drive home. Autopsy reports show
the couple died of blunt force trauma, being beaten to death by a hard,
dense object similar to a fireplace poker or tire tool. Washington now sits on
death row at Hollman prison in Atmore. An execution date hasn't been set. -

Charged With Indecent Exposure with children near an elementary school Leroy
Felton, Jr. was arrested in connection with a series of suspected indecent
exposure incidents near an elementary school. Police say they responded to a call
from students at Park View Elementary School
in reference to possible indecent exposures. While en route to the school the
responding officer was stopped by another alleged victim who was able to point

Curtis gets life for casual cold-blooded murder of Georgia woman during purse-snatch A
man was sentenced to life in prison Friday for murdering a Georgia tourist in
a case that drew national attention when it was profiled in an Oscar-winning HBO
documentary. Juan Curtis, 26, received a mandatory life prison term for
the first-degree murder and armed robbery of Mary
Ann Stephens. She and her husband were outside the motel when Curtis
walked up, shot her once in the head and took her purse. The judge also added
six months to the 10-year sentence of getaway driver Jermel Williams, 25,

"Northside
Rapist" and pervert Derrick Robins found guilty of all 14 counts - was tied
to 30 rapes  Prosecutors
put Derrick Robins on trial this week in connection with three assaults,
two of which resulted in the rapes of women.
The charges included two rapes, two kidnappings, and several counts of armed robbery.
Investigators have said they believe Robins is behind as many as 30 assaults
that happened at apartment complexes. Robins was sentenced to four consecutive
life terms. A 73-year-old woman
raped said she is 99% sure that

Deputies
Search for Two Black I-20 Shooting Suspects  Investigators
with the Richland County Sheriff's Department are looking for two people who shot
and killed a Columbia mother and injured her three-year-old son on October 17th
on Interstate 20 in Richland County. Twenty-year-old Stephanie
Dover died in the shooting that happened in the early morning hours
of Sunday, Oct. 17th. Her three-year-old son
was shot in the leg but survived. Another
child and Dover's fiance, Gene Derrick, were not injured -
(only severally traumatized). Investigators believe the suspect vehicle
is a dark colored Chevrolet or GMC step-side short bed pick-up truck. The driver
is a black male, with a possible small afro. The passenger is described

Morris Charged In Cannady Murder Enters Guilty Plea  DURHAM,
N.C. -- One of the five men accused in the murder of an 89-year-old Durham woman
has entered a guilty plea. Ricky Morris appeared in court to admit his
role in the death of Lois Cannady.
He now faces second-degree murder charges instead of first-degree murder charges.
Part of his agreement involves him testifying against the other four men involved
in the case. Lois Cannady, 89, was

of Character month. Five or six years ago the newsmedia saturated us with negritude 24/7 during February. The American people aren't as dumb as they look; we can only take so much celebrating the inventions of the biscuit cutter, the door knob, the curtain rod, the door stop and the super soaker water gun. Many of these claims are seen for what they are and other negro claims of invention have been definitively debunked. It became buffoonish after a while and I believe that the newsmedia recognized that. As negroes grasp at straws to find any boost for their fragile self esteem, we simply look to modern Africa or our local newspapers to see the negro in it's natural state: murderous, self absorbed, vicious, incompetent, and always whining that white people don't like them. Well tell me this, what is there to like? Sure, there may exist certain individuals of color who are decent folk, but who has the time and energy to go through city busloads of negroes until you find one like that?
