Security guard who shot 6-year-old (White) girl 'kept missing
his target' as he fired at suspect   HOUSTON,
Texas (KTRK) -- The security guard accused of accidentally shooting
a little White girl at a McDonald's drive-thru during a theft at a
cell phone store appeared in court Wednesday.Christopher Bradley, 28, is charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury in the shooting that injured 6-year-old Claire Tidwell. Claire will be released from the hospital Wednesday. She's using a walker and will continue with physical therapy. Her mother tells Eyewitness News Claire is still in pain but excited to go home. Tuesday, she spent three hours in surgery while doctors removed the stray bullet from her left leg. The shooting happened at the T-Mobile store in the 5500 block of Airline in north Houston. Authorities say Bradley, who was not in uniform, saw 18-year-old Earnest Hudson stealing an iPhone. Hudson ran out, triggering the alarm. Bradley confronted him outside of the store. During the confrontation, he pointed his gun at Hudson, who took off. Bradley chased after him, firing "an unknown amount of times," prosecutors said. Bradley followed Hudson toward the right side of the McDonald's drive-thru, where Claire and her family were at the time. Claire was sitting in the back seat of her family's vehicle. Prosecutors said Bradley "kept missing his target," but he did end up hitting Hudson several times. Hudson was taken to the hospital, where he's expected to survive. However, Bradley also hit Claire while she was in the car. Claire's femur was fractured, which required the surgery. She may still have serious nerve damage. "This is going to be expensive and it's going to be long term. This is something that's not just going to be she gets out of the hospital and she's back to normal," Claire's aunt Jessica Montanez said. SC (WLTX) — A Richland County man is under arrest after the father
of the victim posted images of his badly beaten and bruised daughter
on Facebook. Richland County Sheriff's Department's Fugitive Team
and US Marshals arrested Spenser Mackenzie Jeffcoat, 21, and
charged him with attempted murder, domestic violence high and
aggravated nature, and kidnapping for the assault that
occurred on Saturday, Nov. 10. Deputies were called to Palmetto Richland Hospital around 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The victim was able to speak with the deputies who said she was kicked, punched, and strangled multiple times by Jeffcoat. The victim had to undergo surgery and was treated for multiple injuries sustained to her face and body. The victim's father took to Facebook, posting pictures of his daughter's injuries and photos of Jeffcoat. The post was shared over 14,600 times. - (Black-on-white) |

and identifying two suspects they believe are responsible for
fatally shooting one man and injuring a second at a Pine Bluff pawn
shop Monday night.Police say the shooting occurred at the Wise Buck Pawn Shop. According to a post on the department's Facebook page, officials believe two armed individuals entered the store where one exchanged gunfire with the business owner, identified as Brandon McHan. Police say the suspects fled the store, at which time another victim came to help McHan. Minutes later, however, the suspects returned. The second victim used McHan's firearm to exchange gunfire with both suspects. During this altercation, the victim was shot in the chin, abdomen and hand. accused of kidnapping and forcibly kissing a 15-year-old
female passenger in Golden on Saturday, the Jefferson County
Sheriff’s Office said. Now, the victim and her mother are speaking
out.According to deputies, just after 10 p.m. on Saturday, Uber driver Ahmed Muse picked up the teen at her job in the 100 block of North Rubey Drive in Golden using UberPOOL to go to her home 10 miles away. Brianna Allen lives just 15 minutes away from work at the Cast Iron Tavern, but says the whole trip took an hour and a half. Allen and her mother, Shamara Ludwig, spoke about the frightening ride. ...Muse bypassed her home saying that the app wasn’t functioning... When the driver finally drove Allen back home, the teenager said the driver forced himself on her. "He locked the doors, turned off all the interior lights and kissed me on the cheek twice. And so I tried pushing him away, and he grabbed the back of my neck and kissed me on the lips," she recalls. "I saw the unlock button, I clicked it, and I got out of the car." boyfriend of a woman found stabbed last month in her Gary home has
been charged in her death. Kyle Washington, 37, was charged
in Lake Superior Court with the murder of Mary
Rawson, 34, court records show. Rawson’s mother requested a
welfare check Oct. 16 after hearing that her daughter had possibly
been killed. Officers found Rawson in a bedroom with “multiple stab wounds” and “a white cord wrapped tightly around her neck,” the affidavit states. A kitty litter box “was dumped all over the room and on Mary Rawson,” and her pockets were turned inside out. Officers also found a shower running upstairs with a computer internet router in it. Washington and Rawson lived together at the home on Tyler Street, and he “had made several death threats to her and was physically abusive to her,” Rawson’s sister said. “Mary Rawson feared for her life and did not know how to leave the relationship with Kyle” On Oct. 14, the sister saw “numerous bruises” on Rawson’s legs, shins and knees, which “Mary said were caused by physical abuse from Kyle.” Rawson’s 1997 Buick LeSabre was found Oct. 17 in the 9100 block of East 5th Avenue with clothing, a purse and a wallet inside, court records show. Police brought a K-9 to the scene, which led officers to a residence the 9300 block of Sunrise Boulevard in Gary where Washington’s relatives lived. The relatives told investigators that Washington came to the house the morning of Oct. 16 and banged on the door and windows, the affidavit states. One relative told police she overheard Washington say “he had murdered someone.” Washington asked the relative “to give him a hug and said that he was going away for a long time.” Washington’s shirt had “spots of blood on it.” - (Black-on-white) |

Couple found dead inside burning car after giving (black) man a
ride - rat tried to escape by burrowing  SHREVEPORT,
LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police have launched a homicide investigation
into the deaths of a man and woman found dead in a car that caught
fire at an abandoned home late Thursday night. Police believe the
couple had given a ride to a man earlier in the evening.According to the Shreveport Police Department, a witness called officers and explained that someone approached her father and step-mother outside Mall St. Vincent. The suspect used the couple’s cell phone to call a cab before they decided to give them a ride. The couple was found inside a burning car at the home near the intersection of Penick Street and San Jacinto Avenue, approximately three miles from the mall. Firefighters were called to the scene just before midnight. Overnight, a family member called KSLA News 12 and stated two people went missing from the mall. The caller stated the couple was at the mall with their children when a man approached them asking for a ride. The couple asked their children to go home. The children said their parents never returned home. shooting Friday night in west Mobile, is home recovering with his
family.Hours after being taken away in an ambulance, Towarnyckyj was home with his family by his side. “I talked to him this morning, he got to go home last night and enjoyed breakfast with his family this morning and even went to his kid's soccer game this afternoon,” said Father Chris Boutin.”It's a relief for all of us and we're thankful to god that he's going to be OK.” Towarnyckyj was shot in arm when he tried to pull over a reported stolen car. After opening fire, the man suspected of shooting him, Dajoune DuBose, tried to run from police. who is facing murder and cyber harassment charges, is scheduled to
return to court Friday after a detention hearing scheduled for
Wednesday was postponed. As a result, Bullock will remain in
the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick
pending the outcome of that hearing.Bullock, 22, has been charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, both first-degree crimes, and cyber harassment, a fourth-degree crime. He is accused of initiating a plot to murder two family members of an acquaintance who are not affiliated with Rutgers. Court records show Bullock also allegedly threatened to send "private intimate photographs" of a woman, to her job, in the cyber harassment charge filed against him as part of an ongoing attempted murder investigation. The complaint states the intent was to "emotionally harm the victim." The affidavit of probably cause indicates Bullock possessed the photos that were sexual in nature and he sent them to her during their electronic communications to harass her. Bullock was distraught following the recent breakup with a longtime girlfriend and allegedly made comments, viewed as threats, against the woman's family, according to an NJ Advance Media report. |

in Upper Arlington has now been charged with murder, according to
the Franklin County Prosecutor. Mohamed Abdullahi, 27,
was arrested and charged with abuse of a corpse and arson in
mid-October, after being pulled over for a traffic violation.
Wednesday, it was announced by the prosecutor that Abdullahi was
indicted on murder charges by a grand jury for the death of Bobbie
Renee Simpson.Simpson was found in Burbank Park on Sunday, Oct. 14 after a passerby reported a fire. “Not only did this man murder this young woman, but he also set her body on fire in a park in Upper Arlington in order to avoid detection for the crimes he had committed," Prosecutor Rob O'Brien said. make arrest in 21-year-old cold case murder SOUTH
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Fulton County police have made an arrest in a
21-year-old homicide case, officials announced Thursday.
Fulton County police Chief Darryl Halbert said Jerry Lee, 61, was
arrested this week in the 1997 murder of Lorrie Ann Smith, 28. Smith
was shot to death in her home in South Fulton County on May 25,
1997. Smith was shot in the back in her own bedroom at a home
on Stonewall Tell Road. Police said there was no sign of forced
entry, sexual assault or robbery.It was clear Smith fought for her life. Police found a "significant amount" of the suspect's blood at the scene, but without modern DNA testing were not able to make a match in the state database. That's where Ancestry.com came in to play. Investigators took DNA they collected from the crime scene and sent it to a DNA testing company called Parabon, which found a similar strand of DNA in their system from someone who was trying to uncover their family tree. sayBaton Rouge police believe a man on death row in Texas was the killer in a 1999 shooting death of an LSU student, linking him to the crime almost two decades later through DNA evidence. Investigators on Tuesday issued a warrant for Travis Green, 49, after his DNA was matched to a glove found at the scene of the 1999 shooting death of 19-year-old Kassie Federer. Green is currently on death row in Livingston, Texas, for another slaying, that of a 19-year-old woman killed in Houston days before Federer's death in Baton Rouge, said police spokesman Sgt. Don Coppola Jr. "It's been a long time coming," said Warren Federer, her father. "It's a big burden off of us. We know he's not going to be out there doing that to somebody else's daughter." (CBS SF) — A 13-year-old and 23-year-old man have been arrested
for igniting ‘an improvised explosive device’ that injured 10
Oakland police officers during a demonstration in July,
authorities announced Thursday.The attack took place on July 23rd, during a gathering at the MacArthur BART Station to protest the stabbing death of 18-year-old Nia Wilson. Authorities said at least two M80- or M1000-type devices were thrown at officers, injuring them. Eventually, investigators were able to identify a person of interest and he was located. Detectives prepared a search warrant for the subject’s residence and a Ramey warrant was signed for his arrest. The 13-year-old was taken custody and evidence linking him to the crime was recovered during the search. “He made a full confession, apologized for injuring the officers and cooperated with the investigation,” Oakland police said in a news release. “He provided a formal apology to the Oakland Police Department and plead guilty for felony criminal conspiracy.” Several search warrants were prepared and authorized for social media profiles, emails accounts, cell phone data and location information on a second suspect — identified as 23-year-old Giovonni Gaines. - (Black-on-white) |

LOUIS • The last of three defendants charged in connection with
the fatal shooting of a cabdriver during a robbery in the Central
West End was sentenced Thursday to prison. Shakur Ellis,
20, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for second-degree murder,
first-degree robbery and armed criminal action by St. Louis
Circuit Judge David Dowd. The judge accepted a plea deal in August
between the state and defense in the Sept. 14, 2016, shooting
death of cabdriver Timothy
Grice.A co-defendant, Jerry Reese, shot and killed Grice, 38, in his cab between 2 and 3 a.m. in the 4900 block of Laclede Avenue near Forest Park, according to court documents. His body was discovered in the taxi seven or eight hours later when someone reported to police that the vehicle had been parked there for a long time. Prosecutors said Ellis cooperated with homicide detectives and agreed to testify against Reese, who was sentenced by Dowd on Wednesday to 25 years in prison. Reese, 21, pleaded guilty to five felonies, including second-degree murder and first-degree robbery. Reese admitted pulling up behind Grice’s taxi, approaching the car and shooting the taxi driver in the neck before taking an iPhone and other items. In May, the judge gave Savion Smith, 24, a 15-year prison term after a jury found him guilty of receiving stolen property in a related crime. - (Black-on-white) |

carjacking of a 78-year-old man
on Tuesday. On Wednesday at 11:38 a.m. the gold color 2001 Ford
Taurus belonging to the 78-year-old victim was recovered in the
area of Peccole Strada and Bologna Drive after receiving a citizen
tip. Detectives later learned that two other similar crimes
occurred. In these two incidents, the victims
were also elderly. One of the carjackings was
halted when a citizen, who observed a suspect steal the keys from
the elderly victim, intervene and blocked the vehicle to prevent
the suspect from driving away. The suspect fled on foot from the
intended stolen vehicle. As a result of the extensive
investigation, four juveniles have been identified and
taken into custody for their involvement in the series of
carjackings. Detectives are looking for two additional
suspects involved in these incidents. |

(WPVI) --\ Authorities say two suspects have been arrested in a
shooting that wounded a Philadelphia police officer. Commissioner
Richard Ross said 31-year-old
Officer Paul Sulock was shot in the leg shortly
after 11 a.m. Wednesday. The gunfire erupted after he and another
uniformed officer apparently interrupted a confrontation between
two men in the Kensington neighborhood.Ross said the men were crouched behind cars across the street from each other, one armed and apparently about to shoot the other. "The quick action of these police officers probably save the life of one of these people involved, quite frankly. It was going to be a shooting, there is no question about that," said Ross. The armed man fired at the officers, hitting Sulock in his thigh. Ross said Sulock chased down one of the suspects despite his wound. The other suspect was also arrested. It wasn't long before law enforcement that descended on the shooting scene. They focused their attention on a house in the 3100 block of Custer Street. That's where four people were brought out and handcuffed. Heights  HOUSTON,
Texas (KTRK) -- Three Houston-area shootings may be linked to the
same person.This suspect is accused of killing one person. But he apparently shot at two others in a crime spree that started in August and spans from Baytown to the Heights. HPD released a composite sketch of the suspect from the shooting that happened on Cortlandt back on October 16. They say the suspect opened fire on a man walking his dog around 9:30 p.m. Baytown police believe the same car was used in a different shooting that happened in Baytown back on August 15. In that shooting, 84-year-old Sam Wingate was walking with a friend on Pinehurst Drive when a man in a light-colored car opened fire on him. Wingate was hit in the back and later died from his injuries. Now police say the vehicle seen at both locations may be the same car and we are hearing of a third shooting that also happened in the Heights that seems connected. - (Black-on-white) |

a Mobile group home over the weekend has a criminal past, yet he
was still able to find work as a caregiver.Trent Yates is charged with murdering 21-year-old Matthew Cox at the New Way Out group home in Mobile. Yates was a caregiver at the group home where Cox lived. Investigators believe Yates stomped Cox causing his death. Yates is now behind bars. His bond has been set at $200,000. convicted sex offender is facing multiple felony charges for
allegedly shooting a Fayette County deputy in the face with a
shotgun and slashing a La Grange police officer with a knife.Shazizz Mateen, 49, is charged with four counts of aggravated assault on a public servant with a deadly weapon. The shooting happened last week at the Carter Motel in La Grange, but it began when two officers attempted to serve a felony warrant on Mateen at a nearby Dollar General store for failing to register as a sex offender. Investigators said Mateen resisted, pulled a knife and cut one of the officers. He then ran to the nearby hotel room and barricaded himself inside. Fayette County Sheriff's Office(r) CJ Lehmann volunteered to take the lead in breaching the door because he was wearing a ballistic vest. In doing so, he was shot in the face with a shotgun. Deputy Lehmann lost his left eye, and doctors are still working to save his right eye, with surgery scheduled for later this week. Man arrested after woman found shot in backyard of St.
Petersburg home  ST.
PETERSBURG, Fla. — Police have arrested a man in connection to a
deadly shooting in St. Petersburg. St. Pete police arrested
Marco Nicholas Murray, 37, and charged him with
second-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm for the
shooting death of Christina Veronica
Rush. Rush was found shot in the backyard of a St.
Petersburg home early Thursday morning. Detectives say the
27-year-old woman was found just before 1:00 a.m. in the
1000 block of 15th Avenue S. Investigators believe the victim
knew her attacker but have not said if Murray knew Rush.

murder  CHARLOTTE,
NC (WBTV) - The boyfriend of a woman whose body was found inside a
Steele Creek home Sunday afternoon is facing murder charges in her
death. Stephanie Potts,
35, was found around 3:25 p.m. inside a home on Black Chestnut
Place, in a neighborhood off of Steele Creek Road. Monday, police
announced Potts' boyfriend, 31-year-old Deshawn Lamont Clipper,
was arrested in connection to Potts' killing. Clipper was arrested
Monday morning in Greensboro. Police say Clipper is charged with
first-degree murder. According to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s
Office, Clipper was arrested in September for assault on a
female. Officers responded to a “check the welfare” call for
service Sunday. When they arrived, officers found Potts inside the
residence. Police described her as a “victim of violence.”
Officers said this did not appear to be random violence, but did

murder of a woman in May.On May 23, police were called to 101-103 Enfield Street for a report of shots fired and a person down in the street. On Thursday, police arrested Byron Perry, 26, of Hartford. Knights Inn Travelodge and found Selleys badly beaten and bound by

Morris and Vasquez to stay in their room. Morris and Vasquez
accused Selleys of stealing money and drugs and bound up Selleys

Family members took turns to visit him each week until he died. McKinney wanted to leave as soon as she learned that Cosby was released from prison in March after he served a 20-year sentence for two counts of attempted first degree murder. According to the Tennessee Department of Correction, Cosby also served time for aggravated assault charges. "That's when I decided to leave and pack up, and that's the most dangerous time is right when you're leaving. heading south in a Chevy pickup on U.S. 75 near H Road at 7:20
p.m. when their pickup collided with a northbound Buick. Rachel
Curry died at the scene. Chloe Curry and her father were taken to
CHI St. Mary's in Nebraska City, where Chloe Curry died
just before 9 p.m., Partsch said.Michael Curry, who was driving, survived the crash, the release said. The Buick was totaled, but the driver wasn't at the scene when rescue workers arrived. Otoe County sheriff's deputies searched the area with a police dog, and a Nebraska State Patrol helicopter circled above, to no avail. Late Sunday night, law enforcement officers found the suspected driver, Rickie E. Anthony, 54, in Falls City, 57 miles south of the crash site, Partsch said. He had received a ride from someone else. last week when an NJ Transit officer spotted him smoking in a bus
lane. Lonnie Arrington, 48, was arrested about 8:30 a.m. Oct.
16 at Newark Penn Station, officials said Monday. According to NJ
Transit, an officer on foot patrol spotted the man illegally smoking
in the bus lanes. While talking to Arrington, the officer became
suspicious and ran a computer search, officials said. "Something
didn’t feel right and the officer followed up on his hunch, which
led to a dangerous individual being taken off the streets," NJ
Transit Police Chief Christopher Trucillo said in a news release.The search confirmed Arrington, of Newark, was wanted in connection with the death of Michael Shendock. transient in the slaying of a 77-year-old man, whose wife found him

police said Monday. Detectives had surmised that the August slaying
of John Roth may have happened
during a botched burglary. On Sunday they arrested Carey Lamont
Reid, Jr. in a parking lot near the home of the victim.
Police said the suspect had left DNA at the scene. On
Friday, police learned that the DNA belonged to Reid, a 21-year-old
transient, police said. And then Sunday, someone called to report a
person sleeping in the parking lot of a tire shop on North Coast
Highway, not far from Roth’s home on Tremont Street. That person was
Reid, who was subsequently arrested and booked into jail on
suspicion of murder. Roth’s death had been a mystery for weeks. Around 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 14, Roth’s (CHINESE) wife, Zui Pang, returned from work and found his body in their home... he had sustained significant trauma to his upper body. Roth — who had mild dementia — may have been asleep and possibly just waking up when he was killed. A cup was thrown at the bartender's the face causing a serious cut to his cheek that later required stitches. Il. (KMOV.com) -- A suspect has been charged with the murder of an
87-year-old man in Alton. Officers from Alton and the
Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 200 block of West
Delmar Avenue just before noon Tuesday, where Eldon
"Twirp" Williams was found dead from a gunshot
wound to the head. Police took a suspect into custody at the
time, and Wednesday charged Donald M. Nelson with three counts of
murder in Williams' killing, as well as attempted robbery,
trespassing, and unlawful possession of a gun by a felon. At
this point the killing appears random.
Williams leaves behind a wife and six daughters, and the community
has mourned his death. Investigators believe he was at the
home, which was recently put up for sale, to check the lock boxes.

(CBSDFW.COM) – A 29-year-old woman has been arrested and charged
with murder after police say she intentionally pushed a man
into oncoming traffic in Dallas on Thursday. Dallas police
responded to an auto-pedestrian accident at around 9:15 p.m. in
the 8400 block of Skillman Street. Police say Connally
Klein, 52, was intentionally pushed into oncoming
traffic from the median and was struck by a vehicle. He was later
pronounced dead at the hospital. Quantara Melton was
arrested at a nearby business on unrelated warrants. After police
interviewed her, they determined she was involved in Klein’s
death. She was then charged with murder and her other warrants.

his face slashed and his eye socket broken with
what he described as “a Mike Tyson punch” in an unprovoked bias
attack, the victim told The Post.Chris Bilcik, 59, said he was sitting alone in Ray’s Pizza on East 138th Street on Oct. 6 when the unhinged man walked in, grabbed a slice of his own, and launched into a racially charged diatribe for no apparent reason. “He starts rambling about ‘f–king white people,’ then he turns around and starts gesturing towards me about the evils of the white man, talking about how they’re the devils of the world,” said Bilcik, who is white. “And he’s pointing at me.” The assailant, who is black, then tried to sit down at Bilcik’s table, despite the Mott Haven slice-shop being practically empty. “You’re not a white man, you’re a white boy,” the suspect allegedly sneered, but rather than escalate the confrontation, Bilcik just got up and moved to another table, he said. But the run-in wasn’t over. When Bilcik got up to throw out his trash and leave, the guy was waiting by the door. “Stupidly, I just hoped he wouldn’t do anything,” said Bilcik, a registered nurse and aspiring writer who’s lived in the neighborhood for nearly 20 years. When Bilcik tried to maneuver around the thug to the door, he smacked Bilcik in the face. “I threw coffee at him, and then he punched me,” recalled Bilcik. “It’s a Mike Tyson punch. I’m lucky he didn’t keep hitting me.” The brute also cut Bilcik across the face with a sharp object during the scrum, captured in brutal detail on surveillance video posted to Youtube by Bilcik. “When I got hit, I felt very dizzy. My eye was mostly closed, and I had severe double vision,” he said. “I could’ve been knocked out. Blood was gushing from it.” As Bilcik, clutching his face, staggered to the counter for help and bewildered patrons looked on, the suspect first lingered for a few moments before calmly walking out of the eatery at the corner of St. Ann’s Avenue. NY -- The girlfriend of a driver accused of killing a bicyclist in
Clay has pleaded guilty to trying to cover up the crash and agreed
to cooperate with authorities, a judge revealed today.Ashley Cuozzo, 30, could face a short prison sentence for conspiring with Vontelle Sparks to cover up Sparks' June crash that killed bicyclist Lawrence Maturo, 27, of Clay. Today, Sparks was due in court to decide whether he wanted a plea deal that would send him to prison for 3 2/3 to 11 years. County Court Judge Thomas J. Miller told him that Sparks faced up to 7 5/6 to 18 years in prison if convicted of vehicular manslaughter, leaving the scene and tampering with the crashed vehicle. (That's 2 1/3 to 7 years for leaving the scene, plus 3 1/2 to 7 years for vehicular manslaughter, plus 2 to 4 years for tampering with evidence.) That's when the judge added that one of the co-defendants -- later identified as Cuozzo -- had pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate against Sparks if he goes to trial. Cuozzo admitted to being part of a frantic series of events that morning that led to the crashed vehicle being hidden in some bushes on the city's North Side. Cuozzo's mother, Michelle Livingston, is mulling over a plea offer herself for tampering and conspiracy. And Cuozzo's father, Sylvester Livingston, still faces a misdemeanor charge, accused of calling in the crashed car as stolen as part of the cover-up. Sparks' sister, Lakeya, 39, was originally charged as part of the cover-up, but was later determined not to be criminally liable, prosecutor Frank Pelosi said. Lakeya was accused of driving Cuozzo around during the cover-up, but did not play a direct role herself. Miller, the judge, had set today as the deadline for Sparks to decide whether to take his plea offer or go to trial. Crash PITTSBURGH
(KDKA) — An Avalon man is behind bars, accused of driving drunk
and causing a crash that killed a 19-year-old girl last month. Robert
Darrisaw Jr. is accused of homicide by vehicle while driving
under the influence.Allegheny County Police said Darrisaw’s blood-alcohol content was twice the legal limit when he crashed into a car carrying three young women and killed one of them. Marlee Anne Hill’s life was cut tragically short on Sept. 23, 2018. The 19-year-old, who is from McKeesport, was riding in the backseat of the car that police said was hit by Darrisaw. According to police accident reconstruction experts, Darrisaw failed to negotiate a curve, driving through a grass median and hitting a large rock and a sign post before crashing into the side of the vehicle that Hill was riding in. violently attacking an employee after they were asked to leave,
according to police. The men were part of a group that was bowling
at Apollo Lanes, on Gratiot Avenue in Roseville, around 11:45 p.m.
Wednesday, police said.While they were bowling, the group became unruly and started causing a disturbance, officials said. They were asked to leave by a 28-year-old Roseville man who works at the bowling alley, police said. Several members of the group surrounded the bowling counter where the employee was standing, officials said. One man reached over the counter and punched the employee in the face while a second man stepped behind the counter and began to violently beat the employee, according to authorities. The first man picked up a bar stool during the fight and struck the employee on the head, police said. He then picked up a blue bowling ball and smashed the employee on the back of the head, according to officials. The second man punched and kicked the employee in the face and body, police said. When the employee fell to the ground, video shows the men continuing to kick him in the head. (That is something that black people do - they STOMP a victim in the head - don't know if that is genetic or what.) Police said the men left the bowling alley after the fight. The employee was taken to a hospital for treatment. The second man is in his early 20s and has been identified by detectives. Police said the first man is in his early 20s and weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a white T-shirt, a black, short-sleeved button-up shirt and black pants. Two
men have been arrested after beating
Police
arrested two people this week after a residential search yielded
powder and crack cocaine and marijuana. Nickolas Shawn
Wright, 31, and Jerri Lynn Sigmon, 24, each face charges
on several drug offenses, including possessing with the intent
to sell or deliver cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for the
substance. Police in Lincolnton acquired a search warrant for
the 2057 Dale Ave. home after receiving several complaints about
drug activity at the house. Police say they found items of
paraphernalia consistent with packaging, distributing,
manufacturing, selling and consuming of drugs. Detectives found
nine grams of cocaine and a small amount of marijuana. Police
say the street value of the drugs is around $400, depending on
how it is packaged and sold.
