Stay Vs. Father in Fresno Murders  FRESNO,
Calif. -- A man accused of killing nine of his children will stand trial for the
slayings, a judge ruled Thursday. Defense attorneys had sought dismissal of the
charges, contending prosecutors had not proven Marcus Wesson, 57, committed
the killings. Wesson walked out of his house March 12 with blood on his body and
clothes. Inside, police discovered a pile of bodies -- nine of Wesson's children,
ages 1 to 25. |

Francisco Police Detective Wilfredo Gonzalez Arrested In Vacaville On Rape Charges Gonzalez
allegedly invited both of the victims on separate occasions to his home. During
their visits, the women reported being given alcoholic drinks that rendered them
unconscious and then being raped. Gonzalez, who joined San Francisco police force
10 years ago, has most recently been working in its "night investigations"
unit. |
Eight Felony Counts Filed Against Richmond Rape Suspect MARTINEZ
-- Eight felony charges have been filed against Jermone Wayne Bordelon,
of San Pablo, who was arrested Sunday for allegedly sexually
assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Richmond in January. The charges against
Bordelon include aggravated sexual assault of a child, rape, aggravated sexual
assault with a foreign object, forcible oral copulation, and kidnapping.

Police
foil black rape suspect's naked bolt for freedom  A
man suspected in a series of sexual assaults in West Seattle and California briefly
escaped police custody in downtown Seattle yesterday and could be seen running
naked from detectives. He was quickly caught and taken to the King County Jail.
Michael Gebre of Santa Rosa, Calif., arrested early yesterday for investigation
of rape, was being transported from police headquarters in downtown Seattle to

Seattle Rape Suspect Arrested A
California Negro being sought in attacks on women following breakins at three
homes in the southwest part of the city has been arrested, police said. Michael
W. Gebre, 19, of Santa Rosa, Calif., was arrested early Wednesday morning
at an apartment in the area where the attacks and occured was booked into jail
for investigation of rape, Seattle police spokeswoman Deanna Nollette said. -

the last three weeks. During the most recent abduction attempt the man threatened
