James Bartonsuspect 1suspect 1BOSTON —Police have released pictures of the people they say may have information about the stabbing a 75-year-old Roxbury man walking home from a store earlier this week. The attack happened on Burrell Street at about 8 p.m. Tuesday. Police released pictures of two people -- a man and a woman -- who they say are wanted in connection with the attack. "Why, why, why do they want to do that to him? He's the friendliest person you ever want to meet really," the victim's sister, Norma Thornton, asked. Family members said James Barton, who is being treated for cancer, was walking home from the neighborhood store after buying scratch tickets when someone tried to rob him. "It's very sad. He's an old guy and he's walking very slowly with a cane. He's walking very slow," store owner Mamen Rashid said. The retired grandfather was able to make it back to his sister's home, who called 911. "I couldn’t think, I said what the heck is going on," Thornton said. Barton tried to fight off the attackers with his cane, his family said. Barton is in stable condition at Boston Medical Center. He's had one surgery, and may have to undergo another one, his family said. "He's strong. He's a strong guy. Praying for him that everything goes all right," Thornton said. - (Black-on-white)

(White female) Student beaten on Blue Line says bystanders did nothing to stop (black) attack
Jessica HughessuspectsuspectCHICAGO -- A student was attacked on the CTA Blue Line in broad daylight - and she says other people on the train just watched as she was beaten. Jessica Hughes was on her way home when she was attacked while sitting in a rail car near the Blue Line stop at Harrison and Kedzie. "If you were seeing someone else getting abused, wouldn't you want to step in?" Hughes said. Hughes said that perhaps more painful than the beating she took at the hands of two robbers while riding the "L", is that fellow passengers who saw the attack, did nothing to stop it. "I was yelling for help. There were two other guys on the train and they did nothing. They just watched as he beat me," she said. The DePaul student says she was brutally attacked Thursday around 10 a.m. as she rode a CTA Blue Line train home from campus. The freshman nursing major said that after most of the passengers in her rail car got off at the UIC-Halsted stop, one man moved to the seat in front of her. As the train left the station, Hughes said she got a bad feeling. That's when the 19-year-old said the man tried to take her iPhone. "He started pushing me and then he pushed me to the floor and when he pushed me to the floor, he started hitting on me constantly. His body was on top of me holding me down so I couldn't fight back," she said. But Hughes didn't let go of her phone, even when her attacker bit her hand. She says the woman her attacker was with then punched her in the face before both fled to another rail car without the iPhone or anything else. Hughes said she finally got some help at the Kedzie/Homan stop. A day later, the swollen and bruised teen says it will be tough to ride the train again as she struggles to understand why she was targeted. "The fact that there was two people and that, why me," she said. Hughes suffered a broken nose but is recovering at home. Police said they are looking at surveillance video as they continue to search for the attackers. So far, no one is in custody. - (Black-on-white)

(White) woman arrested in connection to (black) Southaven man's death - "she was a friend of the victim"
Rebecca AllisonCalvin HollowayMEMPHIS, TN - Police arrested a woman who they said is connected to the death of a Southaven man. The body of Calvin Holloway, 25, was found Wednesday in a field near Crossfield and Holmes Roads. The Shelby County Medical examiner ruled Holloway’s death a homicide. Police said an investigation revealed that Rebecca Allison, 21, was one of the suspects at the scene when Holloway was killed. Investigators found Allison at the Southern Inn & Suites on Stateline Road in Southaven, where she agreed to come to the homicide office in Memphis for further investigation. Officers said Allison gave a statement admitting to having knowledge of Holloway’s death, being in Holloway’s vehicle after his death, wiping evidence from the vehicle, and leaving the vehicle in Oakshire Apartments. Wessinger Sharp said his best friend went missing a week ago. “He's been my best friend for eleven plus years the only best friend I've ever known,” Sharp said. Sharp said he called Allison when Holloway went missing. He is upset that she said she did not know where he was. "To just lie boldly to somebody face's face that deeply cared about him. How can you sleep at night?" Sharp asked. “I called you; I asked you, ‘hey have you seen Calvin?’ you told me no. You lied to me.” The medical examiner has yet to reveal the cause of Holloway’s death. Sharp wants justice for a friend he thinks about every day. “I just wish I could just tell him that I miss him.” Allison is charged with accessory after the fact – first-degree murder.

'Now it's your hands that are tied,' rape victim tells attacker at sentencing
James JohnsonJames Johnson's last victim in a nine-day string of robberies and sexual assaults that rattled the Carrollton neighborhood two years ago was carrying groceries into her house on Hickory Street when James Johnson asked her for directions. After forcing his way into her home, he tied her wrists, "and then you raped me," the woman testified Thursday (April 28) before Johnson, 22, was sentenced to serve 50 years in prison. The woman flew in from Washington State to testify at Johnson's sentencing hearing. She sat rigid, with her shoulders back, and looked straight ahead as she read what she wanted him to hear. Her voice broke early, then stayed steady until she left the stand. "You tried to take my power and control, and I am the one with the power and control," she said. "Now it is your hands that are tied."

'Tag team' serial rapists will serve 30-year prison terms for 3 rapes solved by testing rape kits
Michael PerryThomas NicholsonCLEVELAND, Ohio – A duo that prosecutors referred to as "tag team" serial rapists agreed to serve 30 years each in prison after evidence from previously untested rape kits linked them to the unsolved sexual assaults of three women. Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Steven Gall Wednesday sentenced Michael Perry and Thomas Nicholson to the lengthy prison terms that will be served, in part, while they finish serving time for rapes they were convicted of more than a decade ago. Perry, 40, and Nicholson, 39, were charged in 2002 and later convicted of breaking into a home on East 90th Street where they raped two women and a 16-year-old girl at gunpoint. Both had a little less than a decade still to serve on those sentences. But the pair had not been connected to three other rapes that also happened around the same time in 2001. In one of the cases, reported on June 24, 2001, a woman was sitting parked in a car with her boyfriend on E. 116th Street when she was ordered out at gunpoint. She told police that three men forced her to the back yard of a home and two of the men raped her. The other case was reported on Sept. 27, 2001. Two women told police they drove to W. 41st Street looking to purchase drugs. When they pulled up next to a car, three men got into their vehicle. One pulled a gun and demanded money. They were forced to drive two streets away, where they were raped. Nicholson and Perry were linked to the unsolved cases using DNA.

His sentencing came one month after Jefferson was convicted of kidnapping an 18-year-old woman at gunpoint on a rainy day in North Miami-Dade in December 2013. The woman testified tearfully at trial, describing how she accepted a ride but managed to escape after he pulled a gun and demanded she strip. Taylor PolingTyrill L. WadeSAGINAW, MI — Prosecutors have issued charges in a 2010 cold case homicide on Saginaw's East Side. Tyrill L. Wade faces an open count of murder and three firearm offenses in the Dec. 7, 2010, shooting death of Taylor Poling. Prosecutors issued the charges Friday, April 29. Wade, 30, has been in prison since 2011 but is scheduled for release Tuesday, said Chief Assistant Prosecutor Christopher Boyd. "We've been looking at this for a while," he said. It was not clear if a judge will arraign Wade via video conferencing from prison or if authorities will bring him to Saginaw on Tuesday. Police have said Poling's boyfriend about 8:30 p.m. discovered her shot inside her one-bedroom rental apartment at 446 S. 10th near Burt. Doctors pronounced her dead about two hours later. Michael HumphreyPatricia SantanaThe man who brutally stabbed a Jersey City Sunday school teacher to death days after she broke up with him was sentenced to 30 years in prison yesterday. Michael Humphrey received his sentence yesterday for the 2014 murder of Patricia Santana, 53, his former fiancée who taught Sunday school at St. Anne's Church in the Jersey City Heights for 20 years. "She was braver than the coward who stole her life," Santana's sister, Carol Dowd said during yesterday's hearing. "A real man would have walked away, but you chose to deal with it the only way you know how — as a coward and a murderer." Humphrey, 45, bent forward and wiped tears from his eyes with a tissue held in his handcuffed hands as Dowd spoke before more than 30 friends and family members of Santana. Before sentencing Humphrey by the terms to his plea deal, Hudson County Superior Court Judge John Young said the crime was "so outrageous, so brutal." Humphrey said nothing at the hearing and "has certainly shown no remorse".     Crazy Naked Nigga Caught On Cellphone Video: Deputies Chase Naked, Handcuffed Negro Inmate Down 5 Freeway
Naked niggaLOS ANGELES — It was a different kind of chase on the 5 Freeway Wednesday. The man deputies were chasing didn’t have a vehicle — or pants. A man being taken to jail somehow escaped while he was in handcuffs near San Fernando. He made a break for freedom, somehow getting his arms under his legs in the back of a patrol vehicle. A witness captured the bizarre pursuit on his cellphone video. Authorities said the man was able to kick out a window of the vehicle and made a run for it — naked. It happened during the morning commute. Cars had to come to a complete halt and brake suddenly as the naked man weaved in and out of traffic. “All of a sudden, everybody starts slowing down, slamming their brakes. And then I see a naked guy, “said the man who shot the cellphone video. “And I see two police officers following him. It was insane. Everyone just starts slamming their brakes.” The inmate was being transferred from Santa Clarita downtown to a mental facility. The witness said the man crawled up into the wheel well of a big rig trying to escape capture but police were able to pull him out.

After acquittal in death of (White female) cab driver, (black crack addict) Johnathan Mitchell indicted in cab robbery
Johnathan Dewayne MitchellCatherine “Cathy” Ann StickleyThe man acquitted in the 2011 homicide of a local cab driver has now been charged in federal court for robbing her at the time of her death. Johnathan Dewayne Mitchell, 38, of Cedar Rapids, was indicted Tuesday of one count of robbery affecting commerce in U.S. District Court. The indictment states Mitchell obstructed commerce — the cab company service — by “violently” robbing Catherine “Cathy” Stickley, 54, who was driving a Century Cab on April 29, 2011. His initial appearance in federal court hasn’t been set. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in federal prison. Mitchell was acquitted in 2013 by a Story County jury for first-degree murder and first-degree robbery in the homicide of Stickley, 54, of Cedar Rapids, who was stabbed to death that night in 2011. The trial was moved from Linn County due to pretrial publicity. According to testimony, Stickley was stabbed 18 times in the neck and head. Mitchell’s prints were found in Stickley’s blood in the cab. The prosecution claimed Mitchell needed money for crack cocaine and he killed Stickley to get it. Mitchell was out on bond pending a 2010 assault when Stickley was killed. Mitchell admitted during the trial that he stole money from Stickley to buy crack cocaine but he said she was already dead, lying outside the cab on the ground in the 1500 block alley between Second and Third avenues SE. Mitchell was the only suspect in the homicide and the case hasn’t been reopened. - (Black-on-white)

NYC: Racist serial black slasher who slashed the faces of at least two White woman is declared too crazy for trial
Kari BazemoreAmanda MorrisAmanda MorrisNikki PagliaroThe “Chelsea Slasher” has been found unfit to stand trial. Kari Bazemore — who earned the infamous moniker after allegedly slashing a young woman in the face in Manhattan — was committed to the city’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene by a court-appointed psychologist Thursday, after a psych exam showed he was not mentally well enough to be tried. Bazemore, who has 31 prior arrests, has twice been found mentally unfit to stand trial in previous cases. The slasher first struck early Jan 6, when he cut 24-year-old Amanda Morris’s face on West 24th Street as she trekked to work at the Chelsea Whole Foods. She needed 150 stitches to close her wounds. Authorities have also tied Bazemore to a Sept. 29 attack on a 25-year-old salon worker and her 28-year-old friend as they were walking on East 174th Street near Walton Avenue in The Bronx. One of the women was slashed, cops said. Bazemore, 41, also is previously believed to have assaulted at least two other women, including a 43-year-old victim he stuck in the face with a heavy shopping bag as she stood on Fifth Avenue in Midtown on Nov. 4. The unhinged man will remain in custody at the facility until he’s found fit to stand trial. - (Black-on-white)

Attorney: (Black) Man Who Fatally Shot Two (white) Teen Girls Should Get Manslaughter
black killerBobbie Sartain and Raquel GerstelOAKLAND — Diantay Powell’s defense lawyer admitted Tuesday that Powell brutally gunned down two teenage girls near Brookdale Park in East Oakland in 2012 but said he should only be convicted of voluntary manslaughter because he had a troubled childhood. In his opening statement in Powell’s trial in Alameda County Superior Court, defense attorney Darryl Stallworth said Powell “was walking around with no decision-making ability” because he’d been forced to move from home to home as a child, began using drugs at the age of nine and started taking painkillers after he was shot 14 times when he was only 13 years old. “My client, Diantay Powell, is responsible for the deaths of Bobbie Sartain and Raquel Gerstel but the issue you will struggle with is whether it was first-degree murder, second-degree murder of voluntary manslaughter,” Stallworth told jurors. Sartain, 16, and Gerstel, 15, were killed in a hail of at least two dozen gunshots in the 2600 block of Minna Avenue near Brookdale Avenue shortly after 5 a.m. on Nov. 25, 2012. However, prosecutor Melissa Dooher said she will ask jurors to find Powell guilty of two counts of first-degree murder, saying that the evidence in the case proves that he was the shooter. A second defendant, 23-year-old Antonio Edwards, is standing trial with Powell on a charge of being an accessory after the fact for allegedly driving Powell away from the shooting scene. Stallworth said that on the night of the shooting, Powell had sex with Gerstel and they later hung out in a car with Edwards, Sartain and another young man. Powell called Gerstel and Sartain “bitches” - (Black-on-white)

White mom made mistake of giving her black "assistant principal" lover a key to her house - he molested her daughter
Kenneth Andrew Williams white hand of 'mudshark' momROCK HILL, S.C. - The mother of a teenage girl, who accused a high school assistant principal of sexually assaulting her, says she trusted him around her daughter and he even had a key to their house. The revelations come just hours after court documents revealed new details about case - allegations that he traded sex with her for protection against bullies. Kenneth Andrew Williams, 30, is charged with four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and unlawful conduct toward a child. He is an assistant principal at Northwestern High School. The case involves a 16-year-old female student who attends the school. Williams threatened the victim into having a sexual relationship with him and coerced the victim by saying he would damage her school records. He is accused of also saying he would protect her from school bullies if she did what he said. Police say the more they investigated Williams' past, the more apparent it became that he has a reputation among the student body at multiple schools for "being a pedophile due to his proclivity of sleeping with female students." The mother said. "He was here every day. He had a key to my house. I fed him, so I looked at it, as a relationship, but he didn’t. Now looking back, he only had one thing on his mind, and it wasn’t me, it was my daughter.". - (Black-on-white)

Dark Islamic brothers arrested in connection with murders of (Bangladeshi) parents found dead next to eerie note
Hasib RabbiTwo brothers in California were arrested Thursday in connection with the murders of their parents, who were near a note reading: "Sorry, my first kill was clumsy." Hasib Rabbi, 22, and his 17-year-old brother were arrested three days after the deaths of their parents Golam and Shamima. Police found Hasib Rabbi in Tracy late Wednesday, about 55 miles from the family's San Jose home. Each parent was shot at least once, police said. Friends who checked on the parents Sunday found a cryptic note on the hardwood floor next to the bodies. It read: “Sorry, my first kill was clumsy." A longer message on the wall reportedly included the phrase, “I can't be like you, telling a lie. I can't love someone without telling them.” Police believed the couple had been killed by “someone familiar” with them. Golam, an engineer, and Shamima, an accountant, were originally from Bangladesh and had settled in the Bay Area after coming to the U.S. decades ago. They were part of the Evergreen Islamic Center and some had speculated that the violence may be linked to the victims’ faith, though police say that is not the case. The center posted on Facebook that the "tragic loss of Br. Golam Rabbi and Sr. Shamima Rabbi have been devastating to the family and the community at large."

Two (Blacks) Charged In Home Invasion (Homo) Sex Attacks
Shakir Agyei Mitchell and James Darnell JohnsonTOWSON, Md. — Two suspects have been arrested in connection to the robberies and rapes of two Baltimore County men that were reported just a day apart last month, according to police. James Darnell Johnson, 27, of Chesterfield Avenue, and Shakir Agyei Mitchell, 23, of York, Pennsylvania, are accused of carrying out the attacks on two victims who say they were sexually assaulted and then robbed at gunpoint. Both suspects are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center on felony charges of first-degree assault, first-degree sex offense, false imprisonment, first-degree burglary, armed robbery, and other related counts, according to online court records. On March 6, a Dundalk man told investigators he offered two men in a dark-colored SUV $10 for a ride home from work. When they got there, the driver pulled out a handgun and threatened to kill the victim unless he did what they said, the victim said. Once they went inside, the driver allegedly restrained the victim and then sexually assaulted him. Before they left, the victim said, the second suspect stole his television, clothes and some cash.
The next day, officers dispatched to a home in Woodlawn discovered a man bound at his hands and feet. He told investigators the plans he had made with another man on the classifieds website Craigslist had taken an unexpected turn when two men showed up at his door instead, both of them armed with guns. Things turned violent once the men entered the home, he said, and one of them sexually assaulted him before they took off with his video game system and cash.

2 more (black) people plead guilty in Dundalk beating 7 people total to serve time for beating Richard Fletcher (a White man)
Richard FletcherSamtoya WilliamsMya StewartGarry Baker Jr.Keenan HollowayAntoine LawsonAndrew AllenYahkeem WheatleyTOWSON, Md. —It's been nearly a year since 62-year-old Richard Fletcher was almost beaten to death by a group of teens outside his home. All seven people charged in the case have now pleaded guilty, bringing an end to the investigation. Cellphone video shows the moments before Fletcher's life would change forever. Ironically, the same video would also ensure the seven people arrested for beating him to within inches of his life would go to prison. "We think, while it's not the perfect outcome, we think it's a reasonable outcome," Baltimore County State's Attorney Scott Shellenberger said. Shellenberger responded after Samtoya Williams, 18, and Mya Stewart, 16, pleaded guilty to first-degree assault Wednesday. Garry Baker Jr., 17, and Keenan Holloway, 21, as well as three juveniles, had previously done the same. The key piece of evidence that led to the pleas is the cellphone video. "It really is unfathomable how a fight and someone telling them to get off their car could just turn into such a frenzy that really was out of control," Shellenberger said. The video shows what happened on April 22, 2015, when two girls from Baltimore Community High School got into a fight that ended up on Fletcher's pickup truck. The video shows when he goes out to break up the fight, he is beaten and stomped almost to death, and his wallet is stolen. It revealed in court that Stewart delivered the kicks to Fletcher's head, causing permanent brain damage. - (Black-on-white)
