Houston Musician Murdered by Illegal Alien at Traffic Light
Spencer GolvachHispanic suspectA Houston musician has been murdered by an illegal alien who had been allowed to stay in the United States, even though the alien had been convicted in Texas previously for selling narcotics. The suspect was killed by police following a second murder that he committed immediately after killing the musician. The illegal alien’s name was Victor Manuel Reyes. Court records indicate the alien was sentenced to five years for drug dealing in 2010 and had an immigration hold upon exiting prison. It is unclear at this time if he was deported and immediately came back in across the porous Texas-Mexico border or if U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) simply failed to pick him up and deport him, as is often the case. In such instances, the jails or prisons simply release the criminal alien into the U.S. if ICE does not show up. The musician, Spencer Golvach, had reportedly dropped off his girlfriend and was waiting at a red light when he was randomly targeted by the illegal alien and murdered. The victim’s father said, “I want to know why a convicted drug pusher who served time in prison that’s not a legal citizen was unleashed upon our streets.” - (Invasion!)

  • Family, friends remember fallen local musician
Less than an hour after Spencer's murder, a Harris County Sheriff's deputy shot and killed Victor Manuel Reyes after he refused to put down his gun after another drive-by shooting. He's the same man Houston police say may be responsible for Spencer's cold blooded killing.

Black woman who attacked White nurse gets probation; victims' supporters fill courtroom in show of solidarity
Barbara Ward Sierra McDonaldDozens of nurses filled a Multnomah County courtroom Friday afternoon to watch the sentencing of a woman who hurt one of their own. Sierra McDonald, 25, was given five years probation for assaulting a nurse -- breaking her arm "like a chicken wing" -- and harassing a doctor. The medical professionals in attendance, many still dressed in blue scrubs, said the case illustrates the need for stricter laws and better enforcement when patients behave badly. Barbara Ward, a nurse at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, was caring for McDonald in September when she was assaulted. McDonald broke her left arm "like a chicken wing," Ward said, and co-workers had to pull McDonald off of her. The attack occurred in front of McDonald's two young children. Ian McKenna, an emergency room doctor at Randall Children's Hospital, said McDonald called him repeatedly and threatened to harm his wife and family.  He said he'd provided medical care for McDonald many times and took her threats seriously. A third nurse said McDonald had yelled at her while providing her medication in prison. - (Black-on-white)

  • Double homicide complicates another criminal matter involving victim - dead White victim can no longer testify against blacks - Oct 28, 2014
David FudgeNana AdomaJamell Cureton CHARLOTTE, NC - Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life Service to remember Doug and Debbie London, the Lake Wylie couple shot to death in their home. Investigators don't believe this was a random crime. This was a couple twice victimized by violent crimes. In May, armed men tried to rob Doug London in the couple's Mattress Warehouse store. One of the robbers shot at Mr. London. Police arrested three men. What happens in court to that case now that Doug London can't testify? "Unless there is another witness who can come forward who was present at the time the robbery occurred, there's no case," said retired Assistant District Attorney Steve Ward. "There's nothing that can be done - simply by giving a statement to the police is not sufficient." Even though investigators likely collected evidence against the defendants, prosecutors needed Doug London. "The defendant has a right to cross examine their accuser in court" Ward said. "And if their accuser is no longer available, usually that's the end of the case." One of the defendants, David Fudge, pleaded guilty in September to accessory after the fact, and to robbery with a dangerous weapon. Cases are still pending against two other defendants. Nana Adoma is scheduled to have a pre-trial conference. Jamell Cureton is on the docket for an arraignment - to enter a plea. - (Black-on-white)

'Stings my arm, man!' Last words of Texas killer as he was executed - after he begged victim's relatives not to view his death as 'revenge'
Robert Ladd Vicki Ann GarnerTexas death row inmate Robert Ladd was executed this evening for the killing a 38-year-old woman nearly two decades ago while he was on parole for a triple slaying years earlier. Robert Ladd, 57, received a lethal injection after the US Supreme Court rejected arguments he was mentally impaired and ineligible for the death penalty. The court also rejected an appeal in which Ladd's attorney challenged whether the pentobarbital Texas uses in executions is potent enough to not cause unconstitutional pain and suffering. Ladd was put to death for the 1996 slaying of Vicki Ann Garner, of Tyler, who was strangled and beaten with a hammer. Her arms and legs were bound, bedding was placed between her legs, and she was set on fire in her apartment. He was pronounced dead at 7.02pm, 27 minutes after the drug was administered. Teresa Garner Wooten, Vicki's sister who was on hand Thursday to watch Ladd put to death, said that it has been a long time coming. 'I did not think, 18-plus years ago, that I would still be fighting for justice for her,' Mrs Wooten said. When he was arrested for Garner's slaying, Ladd had been on parole for about four years after serving about a third of a 40-year prison term for the slayings of a Dallas woman and her two children. He pleaded guilty to those crimes. - (Black-on-white)

Stratman called Officer Jeff Blair to the scene with his dog, Demi, who circled the car, then stops abruptly near the rear of the Camaro. Stratman called for another back-up, Officer Tony Flinn. Stratman and Flinn approach the car, then there is a blaze of gunfire. Stratman drops his flashlight, then retreats drawing his gun. The officers return fire. (more... - (Black-on-white)

Timothy Johnson JrMerle ForbesGRANT COUNTY, Wis. - A Grant County judge sentenced a 26-year-old man to 50 years in prison and 18 years of supervised release for robbing, kidnapping and killing a Platteville taxi driver in June 2014. In November, Timmy Johnson, Jr. pleaded no contest to first degree reckless homicide, armed robbery with use of force, and kidnapping. The criminal complaint said Johnson admitted to killing 79-year-old Merle Forbes. Police said Johnson stabbed Forbes multiple times and put him in the trunk of the car. He drove to La Crosse and led police on a high speed chase before crashing. An autopsy report showed assault to be the cause of death. Johnson's attorney said his actions were a result of undertreated mental illness, and that he meant to kill himself, not anyone else. But prosecutors say Johnson's 30 prior convictions demonstrate a pattern of dangerous behavior. - (Black-on-white)
