    Tip leads authorities to cowardly black low life scumbag suspected of beating 80-year-old White woman during robbery

Perry Lee Chance Jr., 53, was apprehended on Saturday in Columbia County by a trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol. He was booked into the Columbia County Jail in Lake City where he is being held without bond. Chance is accused of beating and robbing an elderly Winter Haven store clerk on Tuesday. He will be brought back to Polk County later this week to face charges. A couple days after the incident investigators identified Chance through surveillance footage from Elonka's Fashions. A tip led authorities to the suspect's location. Investigators say the suspect took the woman's key after he forced her into a back room of the fashion store. Chance beat the woman so badly that she now has a fractured back. He made off with her vehicle and an undisclosed amount of cash. - (Black-on-white)

He initially said he wasn’t concerned for the victim, then said he was concerned because “it made him feel stupid.” Lawhorn also told police he would get mocked at school for getting in trouble, and be called “dumb” and “black.” - (Black-on-white)

 

    Black Fort Bliss soldier arrested on suspicion of beating his mixed-race child to death
Dartarious GrahamElizabeth GrahamRobert FranklinA 20-year-old Fort Bliss soldier was arrested and charged with capital murder for allegedly beating his 2-year-old daughter, Peyton Graham to death Saturday in a Central El Paso apartment because the girl soiled her diaper, El Paso Police reported Sunday. Dartarious Graham, 20, was charged with capital murder and booked into the El Paso county jail on a $250,000 bond, police reported. He is an U.S. Army specialist stationed at Fort Bliss and assigned to the 1st Armored Division. The child's mother, Elizabeth Graham, 23, who police said was not in the apartment at the time of the beating, but reportedly knew of earlier abuse to the child, and the father's cousin, Robert Franklin, 19, who allegedly witnessed the beating, also were arrested and charged with injury to child by omission.

    35-year-old man convicted of rape involving a 9-year-old
Justin TylerSHELBY COUNTY, TN - - A Cordova man was convicted of child rape and aggravated sexual battery involving a 9-year-old girl, according to Shelby County DA Amy Weirich. Justin Tyler, 35, will be sentenced on Oct. 24 by Criminal Court Judge Chris Craft. Tyler faces 25 years in prison in the rape case and eight to 12 years in prison on the sexual battery case. Both of these sentences carry no parole. These crimes happened between April and June of 2011 in the Stonebridge Apartments.

    Memphis man charged with rape, incest, domestic assault
Sylvester HayesA Memphis man has been charged with rape, incest, and aggravated sexual battery in a case involving two underage girls. The girls, ages 15 and 12, reported to a family member on July 18 that Sylvester Hayes, 32, had been inappropriately touching them, according to Memphis police. The alleged assaults began around April 2010 and continued until June 2014, according to the affidavit. Both girls were taken to the Shelby County Sexual Assault Center. Hayes declined to come in and gave a statement, police say. Hayes is also charged with two counts of domestic assault in regard to a separate incident on July 4.

    Black South Dade Senior High School student arrested - accused of sexually assaulting woman and stealing car
Victor NashMIAMI - An 18-year-old student from South Dade Senior High School was arrested Friday after being accused of sexually assaulting a woman two hours after dismissal. Victor Nash faces charges of attempted felony murder, sexual battery and strong-armed robbery. Miami-Dade schools police said the woman was not a student, but it happened at the school. According to the arrest report, Nash grabbed the woman on campus and body slammed her to the ground. While the victim struggled with Nash, he allegedly choked her until she passed out. Nash pulled the woman's pants and underwear down and had sex with her while she was still unconscious. He then put the used condom in the victim's purse. Police said Nash stole the woman's car keys and was found by police five hours later while driving the victim's car.

    Inmate charged with 2004 sex assault, murder
Berl McKinnieA Chicago man currently serving time in an Illinois prison is facing new charges in a 2004 sexual assault and murder after DNA evidence linked him to the crime, authorities said. Berl McKinnie, 49, was identified through a DNA match as the person who murdered Marcella Travis during the commission of a criminal sexual assault on Jan. 7, 2004, according to a police report. Travis' body was found unresponsive in a garage in the 8000 block of South Justine Street in the city's Gresham neighborhood at 11:47 p.m. that night, the report said.

Theresa Elaine BrownNadia ChoudryWOODBRIDGE, Va. – An employee at a Woodbridge school has been charged with assault after allegedly biting a 13-month old boy. Theresa Elaine Brown, 24, was charged Friday with assault and battery after police learned of the Sept. 11 incident at the Goddard School. Brown allegedly bit the boy after he reportedly bit another teacher. The child, according to police, sustained a bite mark to his shoulder. The incident was anonymously reported to Child Protective Services on Sept. 12. A witness reportedly also told an administrator about the incident, but police said the school's owner, Nadia Choudry, did not report it to Child Protective Services as required under Virginia state law. Choudry has been charged with failure to report child abuse or neglect.
   

    Victim turns the tables on would-be Craigslist robbers
Hardaway (L), Galloway (M), Williams (R)WILMINGTON, NC - Wilmington Police arrested three men in connection to an attempted armed robbery in the 200 block of Lullwater Drive around 12:48 p.m. Wednesday. According to the WPD, the victim was attempting to sell a rifle to three potential buyers he had met through Craigslist. As the victim handed over rifle, one suspect took the gun and pointed it back at him. The victim then pulled out a pistol and told the suspect to drop the gun because it was not loaded. The victim then made all three suspects lay on the ground as he ran away from the scene and called 911. Officers responded and were able to apprehend the three suspects: Savon Khalif Hardaway, 18, Edvis Miquem Galloway, 24, and Kalmeaice Kawanna Williams, 38.

The men were hiding out in the residence of a girlfriend, sources added.

According to police, the incident happened at the Ambridge Area High School around 2 p.m. When police arrived, a man stated a woman attacked him and punched “several children in the face.” The woman has been identified Autumn Stubbs, 30, of Beaver. The man said his son was injured during the game and they were about to go to the hospital, when Stubbs punched him and ripped his shirt. The also said his son was struck in the face by Stubbs during the altercation. Another witness’ son saw the altercation and attempted to break it up, when he was also allegedly punched in the face.

Negro suckerThe Oklahoma City Police Department is looking for a man they say carjacked a driver and was holding a pacifier in his mouth. Police say the crime happened outside near Northwest 90th and Western on Friday just before 8:00 p.m. According to police, the man was caught on camera outside a convenience store just before the crime happened. Oklahoma City Police describe the man as African-American, 5'09”-5'11”, thin build, and approximately 18-years-old. During the crime and on camera, police say he was holding a pacifier in his mouth.

    Prosecutors: Gunman told fellow gang member 'I just hit a shorty'

Antonio SmithProsecutors said Saturday that one of the men charged in the Aug. 20 slaying of a 9-year-old Chicago boy had this reaction when he hopped into a getaway car: "I just hit a shorty. I just hit a shorty." The "shorty" was Antonio Smith, the youngest gun violence fatality in the city this year. Smith suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the shooting about 4 p.m. in the 1200 block of East 71st Street in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side and died later that day. Four men, all of whom police say are members of the Sircon City faction of the Gangster Disciples street gang, were charged Friday in Smith's slaying, and all four were in Cook County bond court on Saturday, where they each were ordered held without bail. According to prosecutors, Derrick Allmon, 19, had joined the other three men -- Jabari Williams, 22, Paris Denard, 19, and Michael Baker, 19 – that day to talk about shooting members of a rival gang, the Pocket Town Gangster Disciples.

Tyshaunna Roberts A Queens dance teacher was arrested Wednesday for touching her 13-year-old student’s private parts. Tyshaunna Roberts, 22, who worked for an after-school program at the public school Pathways College Preparatory School, was charged with two counts of sex abuse. Cops said the sexual encounters took place between July and August and that Roberts “placed her hands inside the vagina of victim” and well as “placed her mouth” on the girl’s private parts.

He was sued in Brooklyn federal court by Officer Veronica Schultz, who claimed he rubbed up against her while at the 103rd Precinct station house.

Marshall has not been charged or arrested, but he has retained a lawyer.

    One black behind bars connected to a (black-on-White) robbery shooting at a south Tulsa hotel
Vavan BrownWhite victimTULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police have arrested one man in connection to a south Tulsa hotel robbery shooting. It happened just after midnight Saturday morning at the Tulsa Select Hotel. Officers were able to identify and arrest 22-year-old Vavan Brown for attempted robbery with a firearm and assault with a deadly weapon. Two suspects came up to a man who was outside smoking and demanded his belongings and cash. The man did not want to give the robbers anything so he tried to fight back by punching one of the men. That's when one of the robbers fired their gun and shot the victim in the shoulder. Police also said he has a serious head injury from being hit with a gun. The victim is currently recovering at Saint Francis Hospital. He is described as a white male, 29 years old. - (Black-on-white)

Candida SummerlinBecky WestenbergerCOBB COUNTY, GA - One of two Cobb County deputies has been released from the hospital, and the other underwent surgery for her broken leg after both were run down by a woman outside the Cobb County jail Friday. Sgt. Shane Kite was released Friday evening while doctors operated on his fellow officer, Lt. Becky Westenberger. Kite was treated for minor injuries. Westenberger was reported as doing well Saturday. Both are veteran Cobb County law enforcement officers. They were injured in the parking lot of the jail when a woman got angry when she was told to turn down her music. Candida Summerlin was asked on separate occasions to turn the music down and complied, but then turned it back up. When Westenberger went back out to Summerlin's car, things escalated. "As Lt. Westenberger told her to please turn it down and was walking away from the vehicle, she took off and struck Lt. Westenberger," Beck said. Kite suffered minor bruising and cuts when he tried to help the lieutenant. - (Black-on-white)
   

    DA: convicted rapist in Fulton Co. on the run
Earl HopperFULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Fulton County officials say a convicted rapist is on the run. Earl Hopper is a former counselor for the Department of Family and Children Services. Hooper was on trial this week for the rape of a 14-year-old girl. Hooper's victim took the stand on Tuesday. Shortly after her testimony, the court took a lunch break, but Hooper never came back. On Thursday, a jury convicted Hooper of boozing, drugging and raping the teen at his South Fulton County home. The incident allegedly happened in November of 2011.

Joseph Robert PattersonAdrian PetersonBeleaguered by felony child abuse charges over the spanking of his toddler son, NFL star Adrian Peterson may now be facing anguish from a past tragedy. The man charged with second-degree murder in the death last year of another one of Peterson's children is now free on bail. Joseph Robert Patterson, who allegedly mortally assaulted the 2-year-old son of the Minnesota Vikings running back in South Dakota, posted a $2 million bond on Friday, said Minnehaha County Sheriff Mike Milstead. The former high school athlete-turned college student -- who stood 6 foot, 5 inches tall, a spitting image of his father – wanted to get married, have a couple of boys of his own, but now none of that will happen, said his grieving parents at the sentencing of their youngest son's killer, Deontay DeMarco Black-Wickliffe. Black-Wickliffe was sentenced to 28 to 63 years in prison for the murder charge; 21 to 50 years for the three counts of assault with intent to murder; and two years for felony firearm. He lost a motion to withdraw his earlier no-contest plea to the charge on Thursday as well. Ogreen, 21, was fatally shot in the chest on Dec. 21, 2013, after a large group of uninvited guests – including Black-Wickliffe -- showed up and an outdoor fight erupted between one of them and one of the partygoers. Authorities said Black-Wickliffe shot Ogreen when he fired off a spray of bullets outside the party after the fight, which did not involve Ogreen, ensued. Wounded by gunshots were Julius Pamer, shot in the buttocks, the man who knocked out a friend of Black-Wickliffe's in a fistfight and allegedly kicked the friend in the head; Nicholas Gifford, whose right thigh was broken by a bullet; and Cody Sharlow, shot in the hip area.     Bond set for Cleveland rape suspect
James Daniel IIICLEVELAND, OH - The man accused of a morning rape earlier this month appeared in court on Saturday morning. The judge set James Daniel III's bond at 750,000 cash/surety. He is due back in court on Sept. 30. Daniel has been charged with rape, after a female jogger was attacked around 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 2 by West 104th Street and Lake Avenue. Authorities say DNA evidence from the attack matched Daniel's. The suspect is also under investigation for a cold case rape.

    Black teen arrested in sexual assault of same woman twice in one hour
Nicholas IsaacOne of the two fiends who sexually assaulted the same woman in separate incidents an hour apart in Brooklyn is in custody, authorities said. Nicholas Isaac, 17, allegedly shoved the 31-year-old victim to the ground on Gates Avenue near Irving Place in Clinton Hill at 5 a.m., Aug. 31, according to cops. Isaac told the victim he had a gun, and sexually assaulted her, investigators allege. Just an hour later, the traumatized woman was jumped by another man on Irving Place near Putnam Avenue, police said.

    Phoenix police search for attacker in sexual-assault case
rape suspectAuthorities in Phoenix are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman at gunpoint, according to a police spokesman. The 22-year-old woman was walking near 40th and Flower streets early Saturday morning when she noticed a man following her, Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump said. The man assaulted her after she started running and yelling for help. Police said he forced her to the ground at gunpoint.

    2 Blacks Arrested For Baseball Bat Attack On Willingboro, NJ Gas Station Attendants
Christopher D. Johnson and Duane E. LabrewMOUNT HOLLY, NJ – Police say they’ve arrested two people in connection with an attack at a South Jersey gas station that happened in October 2013. Christopher D. Johnson, 20, and Duane E. Labrew, 21, were taken into custody on Thursday in Willingboro for allegedly attacking two gas station attendants with a baseball bat. During the incident, the two suspects reportedly attacked the attendant at the Citgo Gas Station at 33 Levitt Parkway with a baseball bat. That man was struck in the head and suffered a fractured skull and brain trauma that required several weeks of hospitalization. Another attendant suffered a compound fracture to his arm from being hit with the bat. About $475 was also taken during the incident. Both Labrew and Johnson were charged with Armed Robbery (First Degree), and two counts of Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon (Third Degree), and both defendants were lodged in the Burlington County Jail with bail set at $350,000 each.

    Firebomber Who Killed 6 in North Philadelphia Gets Life Sentence
Kaboni SavagePHILADELPHIA — The sentence is life in prison for the final defendant to be convicted at trial of a firebombing that killed six people in North Philadelphia nearly ten years ago. The crime targeted the family of a witness who was cooperating with authorities against a local drug kingpin. Like two other defendants before him, Robert Merritt was sentenced today to life. Federal prosecutor John Gallagher says Merritt was the one who actually set the fire at about 5am, throwing a lit gasoline can, and then a second gas can, into the living room. The targeted witness’ mother, infant son, and four other loved ones were trapped upstairs. The convicted mastermind of this horrific crime, drug kingpin Kaboni Savage, who ordered the firebombing from prison, was sentenced to 13 death sentences. He is in custody awaiting imposition of that sentence.
   

    Son of Charleston, WV pastor arrested for selling heroin
Matthew J. Watts IICHARLESTON, WV - A man was arrested Wednesday, September 17, for a drug charge in Charleston, West Virginia. According to a criminal complaint issued by the Kanawha County Magistrate Court, 30-year-old Matthew J. Watts II, of Charleston, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. The complaint says Watts sold a quantity of suspected heroin to a man. A field test of this tested positive for heroin. Watts, who is the son of Pastor Matthew J. Watts, of Grace Bible Church in Charleston, was being held in the South Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 bond, but has since been released.

Asian Man Allegedly Beat Hispanic Man To Death With Bar Bell At South San Francisco Gym
Kenneth OsakoSOUTH SAN FRANCISCO — A South San Francisco man was arrested Thursday morning after he beat another man to death at a gym where they were both members, according to police. Police were called to the gym on the 100 block of El Camino Real in South San Francisco around 9:30 p.m. yesterday on a report of an assault. Witnesses told officers that a gym member, later identified as South San Francisco resident Kenneth Osako, 46, had attacked Diego Galindo, another gym member with a solid steel bar normally used to lift weights.

    Arrest made in (black-on-White) Omaha jewelry store shooting
Milton DortchMilton DortchJames Minshall, SrOMAHA, Neb. —Omaha police arrested Milton Dortch, 18, Thursday for the robbery of the Bank of the West last Saturday, and the robbery of JR's Jewelry and Gifts near 72nd and Jones Wednesday morning, and for the murder of store owner James Minshall, Sr. Dortch was booked for first degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony for the homicide of Minshall. Dortch is believed to be the man who entered the store, threw a bag on the floor and demanded an employee to fill it. Sometime during that encounter, the robber opened fire on Minshall, Sr. Dortch was wounded in a shooting in June near 48th and Pratt. His mother contacted KETV saying she feared her son was involved in the jewelry store robbery. She said she thinks her son also robbed an Omaha bank over the last week. Saturday, a black teenager wearing a red hoodie, large dark sunglasses and dark gloves, entered the Bank of the West, near 135th Street and West Maple Road. The man asked an employee about opening a credit card as he took off his sunglasses and displayed a semi-automatic handgun telling him "Get the ---- back, I'm going to rob this bank." - (Black-on-white)

Heather Mack, 19, and her boyfriend, Tommy Schaefer, 21, both from Chicago, were arrested in Bali on Aug. 13, a day after the body of Sheila von Wiese-Mack was found in a suitcase in the trunk of a taxi at the St. Regis Bali Resort. - (Black-on-white)
   

 

   

3 charged in El Paso mortuary scheme
Joseph SolisEL PASO, Texas - Three people have been arrested on dozens of charges in El Paso after authorities found five bodies in various stages of decomposition at a funeral home and evidence of misconduct in the handling of bodies. Joseph Solis, owner of El Paso-based Mortuary Services Inc was arrested a week ago and now is charged with 37 counts of forgery and 35 counts of abuse of a corpse. Funeral home owner Lina Lucia Ruedas, and her son, Antonio Ruedas, were charged Wednesday. Employees at the funeral home were using forged documents to take bodies across the border to Juarez, Mexico.

Resiles, 20, of Lauderdale Lakes, was taken into custody Thursday morning in Sunrise. He faces a charge of first-degree murder. Jill Su, 59, was found dead Sept. 7 in the bathtub of her home at the gated West Ridge community. Su was found in the bathtub with her arms and legs bound and her throat slit. A window at the home had been broken and at least one room ransacked. Su, a relative of the Halliburton oil empire in Texas, was married to Dr. Nan Yao Su, a prominent entomology professor at the University of Florida's Research and Development Center in Fort Lauderdale. - (Black-on-white)

Washtenaw County prosecutors reinstated all charges against 21-year-old Shaquille Jones of North Charleston, South Carolina. Prosecutors say he will face trial in the 2013 death of Paul DeWolf after he violated the terms of the deal by refusing to cooperate with them, the Ann Arbor News reported. A judge denied Jones’ request to withdraw his plea one week earlier. Jones would have spent more than 18 years in prison after pleaded guilty in February to second-degree murder, first-degree home invasion and conspiracy to commit home invasion. He could now face mandatory life in prison if convicted of murder. The judge said Jones has already testified against 21-year-old co-defendant Dajeon Franklin, so those statements could be used against him during his trial. Jones testified that Franklin, of Pittsfield Township, fired the gun that killed DeWolf last July. Jones said he and 20-year-old co-defendant Joei Jordan, were living with Jordan’s grandmother in Ypsilanti, not far from the U-M campus. - (Black-on-white)

Police described the man as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing between 250-285 pounds. The robbery occurred on Friday, Aug. 29 at the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild exhibit at the Agriculture Horticulture Building. The two suspects, arrested for aggravated robbery, were identified by the state fair as 20-year-old Antonio Terrell Washington and 35-year-old Jarret Maiden.     Mean-looking white girl helps two black friends in armed robbery of home

(Chicago Police Dept.)Two men have been charged with forcing their way into a home in Roscoe Village and threatening the homeowner with his own shotgun before fleeing with several weapons, cell phones, an Xbox and cash, police said. Gary Wallace, 21, and Melvin Wilson, 20, are each charged with home invasion with a firearm. Also charged was Bryna Wolowic, 20, of the 700 block of Sun Lake Road in Lake Village. Police say she helped plan the robbery. The victim told police he was taking a nap around 6 p.m. Tuesday when heard a loud knock at his door in the 1800 block of West Belmont Avenue. He looked through the peephole and saw no one. Minutes later, there was a another knock and this time the homeowner opened the door and allowed the white woman in. Soon afterward, there was a knock again and the victim opened the door and was struck by Wilson.

Kevin W. Church SrAlmost a quarter-century after he raped his daughter, a Northampton County man was sent to jail after pleading guilty to the crime. Kevin W. Church Sr., 55, of Eastville, who had been a chaplain in the U.S. Army, including at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington D.C., pleaded guilty in Northampton Circuit Court to rape and incest. "He told her to be quiet about it and said God would handle it." On Aug. 1, 1991, Church, his wife and two sons were living in Georgia, where he was stationed, when he came to Nassawadox to pick up his daughter, where she lived with her mother. That night, he made the 12-year-old girl a bed on the sofa, began fondling his daughter, took off her clothes and raped her.

He also continues to plead not guilty even though the prosecution offered a plea deal of 33 years to life in prison. He appeared in court Wednesday morning with an arm brace. He's accused of raping an 11 year-old girl beginning in 2006, continuing through December of 2013. Prosecutors say he helped her deliver a baby in March of 2010, then killed it.
   

    Arrest in SMU sexual assault case
Torey Jamal Harris University Park police said Wednesday there's been an arrest in connection with the September 7 armed sexual assault of an SMU student near the campus. Torey Jamal Harris was apprehended in Corsicana on Monday by the Navarro College Department of Public Safety in connection with another sexual assault in that community. The Navarro College agency noticed that a composite sketch of the University Park suspect released on Monday was similar to Harris' appearance. After University Park detectives interviewed Harris, he was said to have confessed to the assault on the SMU student.
   

    'Early morning rapist' suspect believed to be in custody on W. 87th in Cleveland
James Daniel III CLEVELAND, OH - Cleveland Police have arrested a wanted rape suspect. James Daniel II, 33, was taken into custody at a home on West 87th Street near Detroit Avenue just after 12:30 p.m. Thursday. The arrest comes just about an hour after police released Daniel's name and picture.

Johnny Robert Williams, 30, of Tampa, who previously had drug-related warrants issued for him, was arrested Tuesday. Williams was responsible for a sexual assault Sept. 9 in which a woman was tied up and an armed robbery Sept. 7 in which the robber entered the unlocked door of an apartment and demanded money from the occupants A citizen notified police when she found Williams' wallet in her yard, investigators said.

Patrick Dale Pendleton, 27, is charged with rape and aggravated statutory rape involving a 16-year-old male. Police were notified by the juvenile's mother on Monday. The first incident is alleged to have occurred in Gallatin on a Robertson County School bus during a school event on Sept. 13. A warrant for statutory rape by an authority figure has been issued in relation to the sexual encounter.

    Police: man stabs, kills stepfather during fight over puppy
Diamond G. MasonA Georgia man was fatally stabbed by his stepson early Wednesday after he refused to let him keep a new puppy, police said. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that police identified the suspect as Diamond Mason, 23, after the incident in Lawrenceville, northeast of Atlanta. Mason reportedly got into an argument with his stepfather, Joe Kollie, 51, and retrieved "a couple" of large knives in the kitchen, then allegedly stabbed Kollie multiple times.

Andrea BrownA 23-year-old woman is accused of smothering another woman to death after the two fought over money and shoes, prosecutors said. Andrea Brown, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Tamica Riley, 37. According to prosecutors the women were arguing on Sept. 14 in a hallway in the 800 block of South California Avenue over money Riley may have owed Brown. . Brown then sat on Riley's face, preventing her from breathing, prosecutors said. Prosecutors said Brown weighed twice what Riley weighed. According to police reports Brown weighs 235 pounds.

Jonathan DwyerArizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer head-butted his wife and broke her nose after she bit his lip to stop his sexual advances, and he punched her in the face the next day, according to a police report made public Thursday. Dwyer later threatened to kill himself in front of their 17-month-old son if the wife alerted the police, according to the report, which detailed the latest domestic violence allegations against an NFL player.     Trial begins for the black man accused of killing two White women in Sodus
Dante TaylorStacey MoultonTerri MoultonOpening statements were held on Tuesday in the trial of a man accused of stabbing a mother and daughter to death. Prosecutors say Terri and Stacey Moulton were checking on a cat at a friend's home last year when they interrupted a burglary. Investigators say Dante Taylor stabbed the two to death inside the Sodus home. At the trial, the husband and father of Terri and Stacey Moulton testified. He went to the farmhouse to find the women because they had been gone for so long. He described at trial what he saw when he went into the house looking for his family. When he came out of the house, he told a witness, "They’re dead." The witness testified Moulton yelled "call 911." State police investigators say they saw the Moulton women "lying on the floor in the dining room" and they "we're obviously dead." Police say witnesses say Taylor's car was parked in front of a garage at the house. Taylor is also charged with arson accused of trying to burn the house down to cover up the murders. Based on a crime scene photo, it appears that whoever killed the Moultons tried to start a fire directly next to their bodies. - (Black-on-white)

The robbery happened at about 3:15 a.m. in the 100 block of Warner Street. Police said a man approached a UC student on the street and ordered him to take the suspect inside their house. Once inside, police said the man ordered the first victim and his two roommates to put their belongs in bags. The suspect then made all three victims leave the house and walk elsewhere before fleeing. Police said the man got away with a 32-inch television, laptop, Xbox, a Wii and money. He is wanted for questioning in charges involving aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, rape and kidnapping. Police have released a sketch of the suspect, who was described as a black male, between 30 to 39 years of age. He is approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall and skinny with buzz cut hair. Police said he wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans. The suspect was armed with a handgun, police said. - (Black-on-white)
   

    Black ex-marine shoots and kills his white girlfriend before turning the gun on himself after 12-hour standoff with SWAT team
Antoine Davis,Jessica ArrendalePolice have identified a man and woman who were found dead in a Smyrna home over the weekend. Police received a call early Sunday morning about a person who was armed with a gun at the home. A SWAT standoff lasted for roughly 14 hours. According to police, Antoine Davis, 30, and his girlfriend Jessica Arrendale, 33, were found with gunshot wounds to their heads Sunday afternoon. Police say Davis' wound was self-inflicted. Their 5-month-old baby was found inside the home and was taken to a nearby hospital. The baby was treated for hypothermia and is currently in DFACS custody. Investigators believe Davis shot Arrendale in the head, then shot himself. His ex-wife Tamaira Chesley, who has two children with Davis, says he struggled with severe depression. - (Black-on-white)

    (Black) Metairie man arrested on rape charge in Airline Drive sexual assault
Ben MarencoTimothy PateA Metairie man is accused of raping a woman inside an Airline Drive home over the weekend and then putting up a fight when Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies arrived to investigate. Ben Marenco, 21, was arrested Sunday (Sept. 14) on forcible rape and other charges. Around 8 a.m., deputies met with a woman who said she had just been sexually assaulted at a house at 3808 Airline Drive and that her assailant was still at the home, an arrest report says. When deputies arrived at the home, they found the door ajar and, after knocking several times, entered the residence, where they met Marenco and another man, Timothy Pate, who became "combative" and resisted arrest.

    Selma man accused of having sexual contact with 2 teenage girls
Christopher WilsonSELMA, Alabama -- A Selma man is charged with having sexual contact with two 13-year-old girls. Christopher Wilson, 39, was arrested Sept. 16 and charged with two counts of first-degree sodomy, first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse, according to Selma police. The mother of one of the victim's and Wilson's girlfriend reported to police that Wilson had sexual contact with the two girls, who are cousins.

Douglas McAuthur McCain Authorities in Minnesota are investigating how a handful of people were recruited to travel to Syria and take up arms with militants. At least one Minnesota man has died, and some families fear their daughters have also gone overseas to take up the cause. Several Somalis have been subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury - some as recently as last week. Minnesota native Douglas McAuthur McCain died in Syria fighting for ISIS, the acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which has taken over parts of Iraq and Syria.

ElfgeehA Rochester man was indicted Tuesday on charges that he tried to provide material support to the Islamic State by helping three men two of whom are FBI informants who said they would travel to Syria to “engage in violent jihad” alongside the group’s militants, according to the Justice Department. The man, Mufid A. Elfgeeh, 30, was also charged with the attempted murder of current and former members of the United States military, including some who had returned from Iraq, and possession of firearms equipped with silencers, the Justice Department said.


    Black Ex-Con Found Guilty In Murder Of White Southwest Suburban Teen
John L. Wilson JrKelli O'LaughlinA jury on Monday convicted a parolee in the murder of a southwest suburban teenager in late 2011. Fourteen-year-old Kelli O’Laughlin was killed in her Indian Head Park home when police say she interrupted John Wilson Jr. burglarizing the residence. The teen, a freshman at Lyons Township High School, was stabbed to death and several items were taken from the home, including her cell phone. “This is a horrific crime,” Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez told reporters after the verdict. “And clearly, anyone who is a parent — who’s a mother, who’s a father, who has teenagers — this crime hits home. It truly does.” The trial lasted one week, but jurors deliberated for only about two hours, after closing arguments on Monday. Besides first-degree murder, Wilson was convicted of armed robbery, residential burglary and home invasion. Because the teen was white and Wilson is black, the defense sprinkled its closing arguments with accusations. Wilson is accused of taunting Kelli’s mother the day after the murder by texting her from her daughter’s phone. - (Black-on-white)
   

    White man killed over gaming system advertised on Craigslist - black and his 16-yr-old killer girlfriend arrested
Nathaniel VivianDaniel John ZeitzTwo people are in custody for the fatal shooting of a man during what Sandy Springs police said was the attempted theft of a video gaming system the victim was trying to sell on Craigslist. The alleged shooter in the Friday night incident is a 16-year-old girl whose 16-month-old baby was only feet away at the time of the robbery and shooting. Daniel John Zeitz, 28, of Roswell, had listed a PS4 gaming system for sale on Craigslist, and about 9:30 p.m., went to the parking lot of an apartment on Treelodge Parkway to meet a potential buyer, Momon said. There, he met 20-year-old Nathaniel Vivian and a 16-year-old girl, whose name has not been released. Momon said the pair tried to rob Zeitz of the PS4, and Vivian, who was in the driver’s seat of a car, struggled with Zeitz, who was standing outside the car, for the gaming system. During the struggle, the girl fired a shot from a .25 caliber handgun, and the bullet passed through Vivian’s hand and struck Zeitz in the side of his chest, killing him. - (Black-on-white)
   

    Police identify 2nd black suspect in beating death of 60-year-old White man

Police say the victim, Richard Pepper, was walking with a friend in the area of Dundas Street West and Mabelle Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. when they were approached by a group of men and assaulted. The victim's friend was able to escape but police say Pepper sustained serious head injuries and later died in hospital. Investigators previously released the name of the first suspect, 22-year-old Jamal Abdinasir Hassan, and now say a second suspect has been identified. Gonffa Krow, 20, of Toronto, is wanted for second-degree murder, police say. The suspect is described as black, five-foot-seven and weighs 143 pounds. - (Canada) - (Black-on-white)

The suspect, 27-year old Steven St. Jacques of Stamford, is charged with second degree larceny. Police say he has prior arrests for an assault and a robbery. The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. last Tuesday in Veterans' Park and was caught on surveillance video. The victim, who was on his way to the Stamford Town Center to purchase video games, was carrying $100 he received as a birthday gift from his family, police said. On surveillance video, the suspect is seen walking up and speaking to the victim in the breezeway leading from Veterans Park and into the Stamford Town Center.     Texas set to execute black female Lesbian murderer tomorrow 10 years after she killed her girlfriend's son
Lisa Ann ColemanMarcella WilliamsAn Arlington woman who abused and starved the 9-year-old son of her live-in girlfriend is set to be executed Wednesday, the first Tarrant County woman to be put to death since executions resumed in Texas in 1982. Lisa Ann Coleman, 38, was convicted in 2006 in the death of Davontae Williams, one of three children of Marcella Williams. Davontae’s body was found July 26, 2004. He had been beaten and bound, weighed 35 pounds and his body bore more than 250 scars, according to evidence presented at trial. Initially, both Coleman and Williams were charged with capital murder. Marcella Williams is serving life in prison after reaching a plea deal

    UPDATE: Black man arrested in connection to St. Albans murder of White man
Michael BenbowMicah BurdetteActing on tips from law enforcement and the public, one man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Micah Burdette on Tuesday September 9th. An arrest warrant was served on 24-year-old Michael Benbow, of Huntersville, NC, Friday, September 12. Police found a phone at the Saint Albans City Park, believed to have been in the possession of Burdette, who according to an autopsy, was shot in the head, and a bullet was recovered from his body. The phone contained text messages from someone called "Smoov", which is a name Benbow is known for. The messages indicated that he was planning to meet Burdette on the evening of the murder. When police reviewed mobile phone records of the number that sent the messages to Burdette's phone, they found it was in the area of the Saint Albans City Park around the time of the murder. The complaint says that the St. Albans Police received several tips about Burdette's murder, including one from an anonymous source saying that Benbow was involved. When police interviewed a confidential informant about this case, the informant told police he was familiar with Benbow and knew him to use the name "Smoov". The informant also told police he made contact with Benbow on Thursday, September 11, in which Benbow told him he shot Burdette. Based on this information, Benbow was arrested and charged with first degree murder. He is being held without bond at the South Central Regional Jail. - (Black-on-white)

The unidentified man had to be pepper-sprayed by cops after he slugged at least five people — including several women — on the uptown No. 6 platform around 2 p.m., sources said. Officers then chased the brute down the platform after he tried to make a run for it, but they eventually nabbed him. One person was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment, and a man was treated by EMTs at the scene, authorities and witnesses said. Several others who had been attacked refused medical attention. One crying young woman appeared to have suffered a split lip and was seen being consoled by her female friends. The female Transit Bureau officer who maced the suspect was treated at the station for pepper spray in her eye, witnesses said. “Yeah, I maced the guy,’’ she told a reporter after the frightening incident. The suspect, who was sweating and disheveled and wore a baseball cap, was taken away in cuffs. - (Black-on-white)

    Police charge black man in connection with stabbing attack on White woman
Elswart Richard BoddenAnnika Horn LANCASTER, Pa. —Lancaster police have arrested and charged a man in connection with a stabbing on Sunday in the city. Elswart Richard Bodden, 23, of Columbia, is now charged with attempted homicide. According to court documents, fingerprints on a pack of cigarettes found at the scene helped them identify Bodden. Police say Bodden broke into the home on the 400 block of West Orange Street just after midnight, stabbed a 29-year-old Annika Horn in the neck, arms and other parts of her body. He then stole cash and a gun. On Sunday night, police identified Bodden as the driver of a black Honda Civic that fled the scene. He was arrested Sunday night and charged with fleeing and eluding police. Investigators say Bodden took off and hit an unmarked police car as he left the scene. Police chased him down Columbia Avenue, but called off the pursuit near Stone Mill Plaza because of safety concerns.     Police: Black man fatally stabbed ADA’s brother after scuffle

Hazleton City Police charged Amir M. Edwards, 22, of North Pine Street in Hazleton, with an open count of criminal homicide following Richards’ death early Thursday morning. Amir was arraigned Friday afternoon. Richards, 27, was the brother of a Luzerne County assistant district attorney, Justin Richards. Police captured Edwards Thursday evening following a day-long investigation. A 17-year-old boy who lives at the Cleveland Street home told police that Edwards, who is a friend of his sister’s, was at their home around 4:30 a.m. Thursday when he began to argue with his sister and push her. Richards, who had been staying at their home, woke up from the noise and told Edwards to leave. Edwards left the house but said he would return. About one hour later, Edwards returned and the argument resumed, police say. At that time, Edwards took his weapon from a kitchen knife block and stabbed Richards one time, the witness told police. - (Black-on-white)
   

    Argument leads to deadly black-on-White stabbing at Clemson apartment

Clemson Police Chief Jimmy Dixon said they got a medical call about 2 a.m. about a seizure at the Goldenwoods Apartments. When deputies arrived they found a man suffering from stab wounds. The man was rushed to Oconee Memorial hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Pickens County Coroner identified the victim as 20-year-old Cameron Ray Flores. Police arrested Michael Taquarius Rancher, 18, and charged him with murder. Rancher went to the apartments where the victim was visiting. The victim and Rancher exchanged words, which led to a fight. At some point, Rancher got a knife and stabbed the man. - (Black-on-white)
   

    Four blacks arrested for brutal attack on White N. Ridgeville teen

The recent arrests have the victim and his family breathing a sigh of relief. On Friday, officers from the North Ridgeville Police Department, along with the U.S. Marshal's Northeast Ohio Violent Fugitive Taskforce, arrested three males in connection with the felonious assault and robbery of a 16-year-old boy on Aug. 9. The investigation revealed that this was a random act of violence and the victim had no connection to any of the suspects involved. While walking home from the city's Corn Festival, the teen was approached by a group of males who asked for his phone memory card. They ended up punching and kicking him. The suspects then took off with his money, clothes and shoes. Jon Vincenzo's son stopped at a nearby gas station bloody, bruised and half-naked, but he was told to leave. "It is documented. People yelled at him, told him to put some clothes on, but there were some Good Samaritans that actually were coming out of the gas station and realized he needed help," said Vincenzo. The following males from Lorain were taken into custody: -18-year-old Derrick Foster has been charged with aggravated robbery, felonious assault, theft -18-year-old Donte Dower has been charged with aggravated robbery, felonious assault, theft -18-year-old Marcus Kimbrough has been charged with complicity to aggravated robbery, complicity to felonious assault, complicity to theft A 17-year-old male from Lorain will also be referred to Juvenile Court for felonious assault in connection with the incident. The attackers were arrested after they bragged about it on Facebook. - (Black-on-white)

    Corey Moss sentenced to 30 years in pregnant military wife stabbing
Corey Bernard MossRachel and Justin PooleRachel PooleEL PASO, Texas – Jurors decided the fate of the Fort Bliss soldier who repeatedly stabbed a military wife last fall. Corey Bernard Moss was sentenced to 30 years in prison with a parole possibility after 15 years. He was fined $10,000 and Fort Bliss officials say he may be dishonorably discharged from the military. Moss pleaded guilty Monday to a first-degree felony charge of burglary of habitation. He admitted to breaking into the home of Rachel Poole and stabbing her several times while she was nine months pregnant because he didn’t want to pay back money he owed her. Prosecutor William Prasher said Moss shouldn’t be allowed back into society. - (Black-on-white)

Darrien Hunt Parents of suspectSARATOGA SPRINGS — After three days of silence about what prompted officers to shoot and kill Darrien Hunt outside a fast food restaurant Wednesday, investigators issued a brief statement Saturday saying he lunged at officers with a sword. But an attorney for the man's family questioned that scenario. Saratoga Springs police were called about 9:40 a.m. Wednesday to investigate a "suspicious" man walking near businesses along Redwood Road while carrying a "Samurai-type sword." "When the officers made contact with Mr. Hunt, he brandished the sword and lunged toward the officers with the sword, at which time Mr. Hunt was shot," a prepared statement from Utah County Chief Deputy Attorney Tim Taylor said. "There is currently no indication that race played any role in the confrontation between Mr. Hunt and the police officers." Darrien Hunt's (white) mother claimed the police killed him because he was black.
