Police search for black rape suspect released from jail after bond altered in error  A magistrate changed a violent rape suspect's bond last week and allowed him to walk out of jail. Now the magistrate has been placed on leave, and officers are searching for the 23-year-old suspect, who police say should be considered "extremely dangerous." Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested Martin Russell Diamond on May 18, after a woman reported she was raped and beaten. Diamond was taken to Mecklenburg jail. - (Black rapes) |
Black sentenced to 33 years for gang rape and home invasion A judge sentenced a black man today to the maximum 33 years in prison for terrorizing a couple in their South Side home and raping the woman. Jamal H. West pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and rape. "Mr. West, there is not an adequate sentence for what you have done," Judge John F. Bender said. Two men, armed with a gun, broke into a duplex, tied up the young couple who lived there. After ransacking the home, both men took the woman to a bathroom and raped her. - (Black rapes) |

Black D.C. Man Charged In Rape, Murder Of Daughter - (Turkey baster has been cleared)  Rodney J. McIntyre, 45, has been charged with the rape and murder of his 17-year-old daughter, Ebony Franklin, after police revealed that the father’s semen was found in the girl’s body. Ebony Franklin, whose body was found in an alley, planned to meet up with her father to spend the weekend with him, her mother told police. “Ebony was dropped off to meet up with her father, but she was never seen by any other person ever again.” He stabbed her 15 times and left her body in a dumpster. - (Newsroom) |
Black charged with attempted rape in Ocean City  Police were called to Wicomico Street for a sexual assault. Police say 27 year old Rodney Henri went into the victim’s home and sexually assaulted her while she was asleep. She woke during the assault and tried to stop him – Henri then ran out, but was found by police around North Division Street. The victim positively identified Henri who has been charged with attempted second degree rape, burglary and other offenses. - (Black rapes) |
New DNA tests link black convicted killer to rape and murder of woman New testing links Johnny Douglas to Nina Glover's rape and murder. Before his own violent death, Douglas was charged with the murders of two other women after Glover's homicide; he was convicted of one and acquitted of the other. Black man charged with statutory rape of 14-year-old girl  A Mooresville man has been charged with statutory rape and a statutory sex offense on a 14-year-old girl, and is in the Rowan County jail under a $150,000 secured bond. According to a report by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, authorities were called to NorthEast Medical Center April 28 about a sexual assault involving a 14-year-old girl and 20-year-old Stephen Michael Smith. Black Arrested for Raping Woman in Parking Lot Memphis Police have arrested a suspect for raping and robbing a woman while she was walking to work. On May 23, the 20-year old victim was walking when she was accosted by the suspect and forced into a nearby vacant parking lot. The suspect twisted her arm behind her back and pressed an object in the small of her back, stating that he had a gun. After raping the victim, the suspect then stole her cell phone and a ring. Black man booked with home invasion and rape Authorities arrested a Kenner man accused of forcing his way into a woman's home, beating her and raping her. Wilfred Martin, 35, was booked Saturday with home invasion, second-degree battery, forcible rape and resisting police by force or violence. Martin is accused of going to the woman's home on Wednesday and threatening her and two other people there. The others left, then Martin began to yell and punch the woman. Black Charged With Raping 12 Year Old Girl Detectives responded to the emergency room at St. Mary’s Hospital after a 12 year old female advised hospital staff she had been sexually assaulted earlier in the day. Following an investigation by BCI detectives it was determined Jamal Gwan Ball, age 22 of Park Hall, Maryland had engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim. Black man accused of raping woman during Parma Heights home invasion A 37-year-old Cleveland man is accused of breaking into a Parma Heights woman's home, blindfolding her, binding her wrists and raping her in July. Harold Ward was indicted on charges of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, rape, kidnapping, felonious assault, tampering with evidence and intimidation of a crime victim. Ward broke into the house and tied the 48-year-old woman's wrists with shoelaces. He ripped off the victim's clothes and necklace, put a pillowcase over her face and raped her. Ward then took the blindfolded victim to the shower and washed her with soap, then left with pillows, pillowcases, towels, washcloths, soap, lotion and $140. - (Black rapes) |
Black Man charged with Dexter rape A man has been charged with a rape in Dexter that police say occurred on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Moses Grayson, Jr, 33, was charged with forcible rape, a class A felony; armed criminal action, a class A felony; and burglary 1st degree, a class b felony. Police say they got a call on Saturday from a 31-year-old-woman concerning a rape in the north section of the city. Investigators say the suspect entered the residence through a window and forcibly raped the victim, and a weapon was displayed during the attack. - (Black rapes) |
Black sex trafficker attempted to kidnap a 13-year-old girl  Solomon Manasseh Mustafa, arrested by Holly Springs police in June 2010 on charges related to sex trafficking, will face federal charges. Mustafa faces federal charges of sex trafficking, kidnapping, transporting women across state lines for prostitution, document servitude, receiving material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor, and of coercion and enticement of a minor for sexual activity, according to a press release by the U.S. Attorney's office. - (Black rapes) |
Black middle school science teacher accused of commiting lews act on minor A Midlands middle school teacher is accused of contributing to the delinquency of and committing a lewd act on a minor. The Columbia Police Department arrested 35-year-old Kedrick Lavon Lusk earlier this month. Lusk has since bonded out of Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. Black Rapist: Please don't give me life sentence An Irvine man begged an Orange County judge to show leniency when he handed down a sentence for the man's multiple felony convictions for sexually assaulting three women, including two he met on a website called millionairematch.com. "Please do not give me a life sentence," Joseph Raymond Garcia implored Superior Court Judge Richard F. Toohey. "I have lost everything. ... I have very little to live for except my children." Without comment, Toohey gave Garcia 45 years to life in prison – 15 years to life for each victim – and ordered him to register as a sex offender. - (Newsroom) |

Black charged in St. Paul rape, robbery incident A 33-year-old man was charged Friday with criminal sexual conduct and aggravated robbery in connection with an attack on a 27-year-old woman Wednesday in St. Paul. Black Middle School Track Coach Charged with Rape A track coach at Sherwood Middle School has been arrested and charged with sex crimes involving a 13-year old student at the school. 27-year old Arlen Wilburn has been charged with 2 counts Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and one count Statutory Rape. The victim told investigators that Wilburn sent sexual images of himself. She said Wilburn also sent text messages to her that were sexual in nature, and that he sodomized her at the school. - (Black rapes) |
Black Panther inmate inmate charged in 23-year-old Andover rape  A California inmate currently serving two life sentences for murder was brought to Massachusetts and arraigned this morning in Salem Superior Court in a rape and kidnapping case that occurred on River Road in Andover exactly 23 years ago today. Valentine Underwood, 49, is a former Marine and is also affiliated with the Black Panthers and Black Prisoners Association in California. Underwood, who is 6-feet 9-inches tall, was escorted into the Salem courtroom by about a dozen guards all wearing bullet-proof vests. Judge Howard Whitehead ordered Underwood held without bail on aggravated rape and kidnapping charges. Police were able to tie Underwood to the crime 23 years later using his DNA. Underwood is serving two life sentences in California for the rape and murder of Mandi Scott, 15, and Rosalie Ortega, 20, in California in August 1991. |

| Black in court for assassination of White police officer Black formally charged in death of White Sandusky officer   The man suspected of killing a Sandusky officer has been formally charged with aggravated murder. Kevin Randleman, 50. Randleman is currently under guard. There will be no bond. Randleman is charged in the death of Officer Andrew Dunn, 30, who was shot and killed Saturday around 3 a.m. Randleman was riding a bicycle when he was stopped by Officer Dunn. Police say an exchange of gunfire then took place and Dunn received multiple gunshot wounds. Black doctor fled country after rape accusation Police have issued warrants for Darlington Hart, 43, of Rock Hill for charges of criminal sexual conduct. A 21-year-old Rock Hill woman accused Hart of assaulting her at the medical office. The woman said she was walking down the hall when her boss grabbed her arm, pulling her into his office, the report states. Derrick Praileau, 31, pleaded guilty in Manhattan Supreme Court to first-degree murder. He's to be sentenced June 17 to 23 years to life in prison. He told cops that he skulked around the building in September 2009 hunting for a victim. He was charged with breaking into the home of a 31-year-old woman on Willard Street on July 2 and repeatedly raping her. Early Jr. said yesterday. James Earl Johnson, who died in Alabama in 2008, was identified as the man responsible for the December 1992 murder of Ms. Comeau. Motion denied to suppress interview of black suspect in the murder of white Carol Marie Brown  There was no admission of guilt in a murder suspect's interview by Hagerstown police detectives last year, but the videotape of the exchange provided more details of the crime scene and events surrounding the murder of Carol Marie Brown three years ago. Darrol Sands, 43, who was indicted in the April 19, 2008, killing, was seeking to have the video suppressed at his May trial. Brown, 22, the mother of two, was found dead in a bathtub in her home, according to court records and the videotaped interview. Luis Zuniga was sentenced in state district court in Dallas under terms of a plea agreement and testifying against one of his co-defendants.Arturo Arevalo and Alfonso Zuniga have both received life sentences for their part in the assault. Two men who picked a 15-year-old girl up from outside Manchester care home and raped her have been jailed. 
A Quincy man is being held without bail after being charged with raping a 5-year-old girl he drove to daycare and other offenses against three other children. Sergio Lara, 53, is also accused of sexually assaulting another girl and has been charged with other crimes involving two young boys. Lara drove the children to and from daycare. He owned a transportation company and drove a minivan on runs in East Boston, Revere and Chelsea.
