Black Accused of Raping 8-Year-Old Girl - A black Kansas City teenager is accused of raping an 8-year-old girl in an apartment. Prosecutors charged Christopher J. Thomas Jr.with statutory rape. The victim and her brother got into an argument and Thomas took the girl to a back bedroom and forced the girl onto a mattress and raped her. The girl's brother came into the bedroom and told Thomas to stop. Thomas allegedly used a Taser on the boy's right arm. A second attack later that night and once again the girl's brother tried to stop Thomas and Thomas again shot the boy with a Taser. Negro charged in hit-and-run death of 82-year-old woman A 49-year-old black man has been charged in a fatal hit-and run. Darryl McGhee, 49, faces charges of failure to report a deadly accident, leaving the scene of a deadly accident, driving without insurance and not yielding to a pedestrian. Heartless black steals memorial service money from 88-year-old man   Police said they are closing in on a bank robber who stole $300 from a man withdrawing money for a memorial service for his wife. The wife of the man who was robbed died on Christmas Day. The victim had withdrawn $500 to pay for the memorial service around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the U.S. Bank located at 1959 Burns Ave. Police said the man took five $100 bills to a table in the bank and was putting them into envelopes when the robber reached over and grabbed three of the $100 bills. - (Newsroom) |

Rap producer Shawty Redd charged with murder Music producer Demetrius Lee Stewart, known as Shawty Redd, is being held in a suburban Atlanta jail on a murder charge. Henry County Police Capt. Black Teen charged with gang rape -homeless Shamika Sneeze lured woman to trailer A teenager is accused of taking part in the rape of a woman who authorities said was lured to an abandoned trailer last week and attacked by three men. Rico Moultrie was charged with aggravated rape. Officers say they expect to arrest two other men suspected of participating in the alleged rape. The teenager is the second to be arrested in connection with the alleged rape. Shamika Sneeze, 25, is charged with principal to aggravated rape hours after police accused her of aiding the men. Orlando Cabero, 39, was an acquaintance of the 40-year-old and 20-year-old victims. The three were together early Sunday morning on the 800 block of Schiller Street, said Sgt. Ray Evers, a police spokesman. "There was some drinking and drug use," Evers said. "An altercation transpired." Shaker Heights black accused of raping 13-year-old girl is marshal's fugitive of the week UPDATE: Barkley turned himself in to police on Tuesday. CLEVELAND, Ohio — Marshals are asking for help to find a 33-year-old man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl. Phillip Barkley is charged with 20 counts of rape, 10 counts of kidnapping and 20 counts of gross sexual imposition. He was indicted on Dec. 18. Police: African Migrant Male Nurse Wanted Elderly Patient 'To Suffer A licensed practical nurse in Montgomery County, who is trusted to care for the elderly, has been arrested after being accused of causing harm to one of his patients. Abiodun Oke worked at the Arista Care at Meadow Springs in Plymouth Meeting. According to court documents, Oke was taking care of an 81-year-old female patient at the facility who suffered from dementia, pneumonia and who has a tracheotomy. The facility has a visual and audible alarm that goes off when a patient's ventilator becomes detached. Fifth sexual assault tied to black postal worker  A fifth sexual assault is now attributed to a former Chicago postal worker. Tommie J. Naylor is charged with the kidnapping and rape of a 16-year-old girl last November, The girl was forced into a car on the 6100 block of South Rockwell. Police say Naylor was with two other assailants who have yet to be identified. Police recently got DNA results from the attack on the teen and matched them to Naylor. Black Virginia Beach rape suspect jailed on unrelated charge A man suspected in two Oceanfront rapes has been jailed on unrelated charges but will go before a grand jury on the rape charges on Oct. 5, prosecutors in Virginia Beach said yesterday. Christopher Minifee, a 29-year-old Chesapeake resident, was in circuit court on Thursday on charges of failure to appear in court and resisting arrest. At his bond hearing, prosecutors told Judge A. Joseph Canada Jr. that MInifee was suspected in sexual assaults on 24th Street in August and on 80th Street earlier this month. Willie James Steele, 44, was arrested at his home. He's charged with second-degree rape and sexual activity by a custodian. Agents with the State Bureau of Investigation say the alleged victim is a 26-year-old Charlotte woman who was charged in Georgia in connection with a stolen car. The victim at the time was able to identify the man as Felix Sorto-Velasquez but authorities were unable to locate Velasquez until this Sunday.
According to the arrest report, Sorto-Velasquez broke in through a bathroom window to gain access into the victim's residence. He held a t-shirt over his face to conceal his identity. Black Hamilton Heights Rape Suspect DNA Matches All Four Rapes Police believe they've apprehended the serial rapist responsible for four sexual assaults in Hamilton Heights since early August. The suspect is identified as 21-year-old Vincent Heyward, of 281 Edgecombe Avenue, just blocks from where the last sexual assault took place. Officers approached Heyward on Tuesday around 12:30 a.m. because he resembled sketches of the rapist. Heyward agreed, telling the cops, "Yeah, that does look like me." Black serial rapist Victor Lamar Davis gets life for rapes of at least 11 women Serial rapist Victor Lamar Davis was sentenced in Solano County Superior Court Friday afternoon to 252 years to life in prison and two consecutive life sentences for sexual assaults in Vacaville and San Anselmo between 2004 and 2007. Davis, 27, was found guilty in August of 40 of the 53 counts filed against him in connection with the sexual assaults, burglaries, robberies and false imprisonments.

The two assailants demanded money, while another waited outside behind the wheel of the getaway car. In the chaos, one of the robbers dropped his gun. “During the assault, one of the suspects dropped his handgun which the victim was able to retrieve. Cowins guilty. Cowins gained entry to a home on Jana Lane through an unlocked door and violently assaulted a woman in December 2006. Prosecutors said DNA evidence linked Cowins to the crime. The August 18 attack occurred inside a parking garage around 3 p.m. The suspect grabbed the victim from behind and began strangling her. Fearing for her life, she pretended to pass out and eventually did lose consciousness. Recently released black felon accused of raping Eustis woman Deputies arrested a felon, released from prison less than a week ago, on charges that he allegedly broke into a woman's house in Eustis and raped her. Martrez Q. Anderson, 25, who uses at least a dozen different aliases, is currently in jail. ecords show he has a long history of arrests dating back to 2001. The victim told deputies that sometime around 9 p.m. Wednesday, Anderson knocked on her front door asking if she needed lawn service. The woman declined the offer and closed her door. Moments later, Anderson broke into her house and confronted her in the bedroom, she said. She tried to call 911, but Anderson knocked the phone from her hand. He stole the victim's cell phone and kept it turned on. Police say that allowed them to track Anderson down. Police say Anderson is also a suspect in an August 15 sexual assault. Smiling Black pleads not guilty to running down a white family in McDonald's parking lot - killing 2-year-old   The black man accused of running down five white family members and killing a 2-year-old girl in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant in Covington last May pleaded not guilty. Lanny Perry Barnes, 46, attended the 15-minute arraignment hearing wearing street clothes and no expression on his face. Sitting behind him was Stephanie Casola, the mother who was hit, along with her two sons, niece, and sister, by Barnes' vehicle. Black Sex Offender Charged With Kidnap-Rape-Kill of White 11-year-old Jacksonville Girl In 1996  Fla. -- A Connecticut sex offender will be returned to Florida to face a murder charge after being linked to the decade-old rape and drowning of an 11-year-old girl through a database of DNA from convicted sex offenders. Robert Shelton Mitchell, 43, was being held on a $5 million bond after being arraigned as a fugitive. He will face first-degree murder and capital sexual battery charges in the death of Cherie Morrisette of Jacksonville. The Mandarin Middle School student body was found on Dec. 8, 1996, floating in the St. John's River about 10 miles south of the apartment she shared with her mother and sister. An autopsy determined that Cherie drowned shortly after her disappearance on Dec. 2, 1996, and was alive when she either fell into the river or was thrown in. Police labeled the death suspicious, and authorities found a small DNA sample on her underwear and body. Mitchell lived in nearby Middleburg at the time of the girl's death, police said Thursday.
