Santa Rosa teen brutally raped by mutant orge as family slept A 15-year-old girl was brutally raped in her northwest Santa Rosa apartment by a stranger who awakened her at knifepoint, forced her into another room and repeatedly assaulted her early Thursday morning while her family slept upstairs, police said. Her alleged assailant, Kevin Marquice Colter Anthony, 20, of Santa Rosa, was arrested a few hours later after police spotted him in front of the apartment complex. Police said the suspect has a distinctive appearance, including a partially shaved head, a long ponytail, gang tattoos and facial scars. Teens Charged In Halloween "Trick or Treat" Shooting To Be Tried As Adults * Black Teens To Be Tried As Adults In Halloween     CINCINNATI -- Two teens charged in connection with the Halloween night shooting of a Price Hill man will be tried as adults. Deondre Berryman, 16, is accused of firing two shots into 84-year-old Charles Iles' chest after posing as a trick-or-treater. Police said 17-year-old Terrance Davis and 18-year-old Otis Clark Jr. were accomplices in the crime. Indictments Issued In KFC Murder Case * White Families React To KFC Indictments  Authorities say DNA evidence, gathered 2 years ago, has linked 2 Tyler men to the crime scene of the 1983 KFC murders in Kilgore. 44 year old Darnell Hartsfield and 47 year old Romeo Pinkerton were indicted today on 5 capital murder charges each. Currently, both men are already in jail on other charges. Just last month, Hartsfield was sentenced to life in prison on Aggravated perjury charges. The indictments were announced on the Henderson courthouse steps by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, with the victims families in attendance. Ref: Grand Jury finishes duty in KFC kidnap massacre case On Sept. 23, 1983, unknown suspects made their way into the KFC eatery in Kilgore and abducted five people from the restaurant. The suspects then took the five victims to a rural oil field on Walter King Road, where the victims were shot in the head and left for dead. The bodies were discovered the next day by an oil field worker. Mary Tyler, 37; Opie Ann Hughes, 39; Joey Johnson, 20; David Maxwell, 20; and Monte Landers, 19, were found shot to death. Nigerian Migrant Doctor Momah Convicted Of Sexually Abusing Patients SEATTLE - A jury Wednesday convicted a King County gynecologist of raping and fondling women who came for treatment to his clinics. Charles Momah pleaded not guilty last year to two counts of rape and two counts of indecent liberties with patients. He could face 16 years in prison after being convicted on all charges. The verdict came after four days of deliberation. Prosecutors alleged that Momah performed gynecological exams without wearing gloves, sexually touched patients, probed them unnecessarily with a vaginal ultrasound wand and flirted with them inappropriately. - (Tyrone N. Miami Police Officer Arrested On Birthday, Charged With Bribery MIAMI -- It wasn't quite the birthday party one Miami police officer expected when he was arrested Wednesday on felony charges of unlawful compensation. Police said David Lee Donaldson took $200 from a suspected drug dealer in exchange for inside information. Donaldson was celebrating his 50th birthday. Authorities said Donaldson has been dealing with known drug dealers since the 1980s. "It's always a sad day in the Miami Police Department when you have to arrest one of your own," Chief John Timoney said. Donaldson, a 23-year Miami Police Department veteran, has been reprimanded before. Young Black Sentenced To 30 Years For Beating Death of Older White Man * Families scuffle in courtroom after verdict    TACOMA - A judge sentenced 19-year-old Andrew Brown to 30 years in prison for the brutal beating death of Darrel Johnson as families of the two men scuffled in the courtroom. Johnson, a retired Port of Tacoma maintenance electrician, was just weeks shy of his 70th birthday when he was attacked during the daily walk he takes through his east Tacoma neighborhood. He was near his home walking with the help of a cane he has used since hip replacement surgery. Witnesses said the attacker knocked Johnson to the ground, kicked him in the face, and began stomping on his head before running away. He died in the hospital one week after the attack. Black Man Charged in White Raleigh Woman's Murder  Byron Lamar Waring, 19, was arrested and charged with one count of murder in the death of Lauren Redman. Lauren Redman was found stabbed to death Tuesday morning. Redman's body was found outside her west Raleigh apartment early Tuesday morning. Police announced that they had located her missing Honda Civic. Raleigh police say Waring and Redman knew each other, but no further details were available. Three Rochester schoolgirls raped in 1990s testify at trial * Victim of rape told 'not to scream' The fourth victim of a serial rapist who preyed on Rochester schoolgirls a decade ago testified that her assailant knocked her to her knees as she was walking to her bus stop. "He grabbed me and stood me up," said the young woman, who was 13 when she was attacked. "He said not to scream and to stay quiet." The man forced her at knifepoint to accompany him behind a house. "He told me to take my clothes off," she said. "I didn't want to do it. He told me to do it or he was going to kill me." The woman testified in the trial of Keith Lamar Laster, 37, who is charged with raping four girls, ages 12 to 17, as they walked to their school bus stops in 1995 and 1997.- (crime) |
Disgusting Black Sex Offender Charged In Nursing Home Case - Feral Ferrell Accused Of Fondling Incapacitated Women KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A registered sex offender is accused of sexual misconduct at a Kansas City nursing home. Kenneth Ferrell, 49, was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual misconduct. His alleged victims are two women who are incapable of moving or speaking. The alleged incidents occurred at Clara Manor Nursing Home, where Ferrell is a resident. Ferrell fondled two female residents, both of whom are incapacitated and defenseless. "She can't walk, talk, she wears a diaper, she's tube fed, she requires you to bathe her," said Lisa Craddock, the mother of one of the alleged victims. Craddock's daughter, who is in her 20s, has been incapacitated all her life by a birth defect and disease. Prichard woman accused of pimping 12-year-old for drugs PRICHARD, Ala. (AP) - Police have arrested a Prichard woman on charges that she worked a 12-year-old girl as a prostitute in exchange for drugs. Assistant Mobile County district attorney Steve Giardini said prosecutors decided to charge 46-year-old Cynthia Benice Fletcher with criminal complicity to second-degree rape because she induced or promoted the sexual act. Giardini said the girl was raped at least one time this year by a man whom authorities have not yet arrested. He said the department of Human Resources has safely placed her. - (Tyrone N. Accused N.C. Sex Offender Believed to be in Hampton Roads Officials in Gates County, North Carolina, are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted on 21 counts of statutory sex offenses against minors. Joseph Ezra Knight, 32, was last seen in Gates County on October 25. Authorities believe he may now be in Hampton Roads. The charges stem from accusations of two girls under the age of 15 years old who say Knight abused them sexually and physically for more than a year. Negro student attacked a 14-year-old female student in a boys restroom  A Sarasota high school student is accused of sexually attacking another student. Police say 17-year-old Jared Jenkins attacked a 14-year-old female student in a boys restroom at Booker High School on Wednesday. Predatory HIV-spreading Sex Offender Located After Missing Parole Check  PORTLAND -- A man with a history of spreading HIV through sex is back behind bars after disappearing late last month. Kenneth Miller, a convicted predatory sex offender, had been living in the Estate Hotel in Northwest Portland when he turned up missing during a routine parole check. Someone recognized Miller from a television news report and made an anonymous tip to police. The tip led police to a Salem apartment Tuesday night. Man Sentenced for Attempting to Burn Family You may remember the Beaufort man who tried to set his wife and children on fire last spring. Today Oscar Lane was sentenced to two 12-year sentences to run concurrently for breaking into his wife's home and then dousing her and their children with gasoline before trying to set them on fire.A police officer who happened to be patrolling the area found the woman running from her home.Lane ran off but later turned himself in. - (Tyrone N. A 17-year-old girl allegedly abducted by an armed, convicted sex offender was found safe Thursday after a driver spotted them in Broward County, Fla., police said. Her alleged abductor apparently shot and killed himself. An Amber Alert had been issued after the girl disappeared Wednesday. Robert Laird, 39, was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest in his car. Laird died a short time later.
