convicts black serial killer of mostly White women  Case
brought to keep confessed serial killer in prisonA confessed serial killer was convicted of murder Wednesday in case brought by prosecutors in a desperate bid to keep him from getting out of prison in less than two years. Coral Eugene Watts, 51, was found guilty of stabbing 36-year-old Helen Dutcher to death in a Detroit suburb in 1979. He faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole. Watts showed little reaction as the verdict was read. Victims and family members hugged and flashed smiles in the courtroom after Watts was led away in shackles. - (forum) |
Teacher Charged With Rape of 13-year old girl A
Portsmouth school teacher is facing rape charges in Virginia Beach. Officials
arrested Shelton Lewis Jordan at his home without incident. Jordan
is accused in two separate incidents involving a 13-year
old girl. The girl informed her mother of the alleged incidents.
Police say the girl's 11-year old sister
also claims Jordan molested her on two occasions. The incidents
allegedly happened in Jordan's Virginia Beach home.

'Little
B' Seeks New Murder Trial
Michael Lewis, who once went by the name "Little B,"
convicted of committing murder at the age of 13 requested a new trial.
A jury convicted Lewis seven years ago of killing Darrell
Woods in front of his wife and two sons right outside of a
convenience store. . Lewis claimed Woods "disrespected" him.
An argument between the two broke out and Lewis fatally shot Woods with

Fear grips Beacon Hill after 6-foot black male rapist invader strikes Residents along a quaint Beacon Hill street are now living in fear after a female resident was forced at gunpoint into her third-story apartment and sexually assaulted Sunday night. In this latest case, the suspect pushed the barrel of a handgun into the back of a female tenant as she was opening the door to her building about 10:30 p.m. He pushed her to her apartment and bound the victim in her bedroom The attacker was described as a 6-foot black male with a slim build and in his early 20s. - (Hellcat) |

of White woman  Convicted
of manslaugher in fatal high speed accident sentenced to 5 to 15 years.
He was also found guilty of leaving the scene of an accident, reckless
driving, and speeding. 26-year-old Lindsay
Kyle was killed in the accident. Kyle's mother, father, brother,
and fiancé all made statements. Hopkins was driving 106 miles per

Akron
School Employee Charged With Rape Of Minors David
J. Porter, 43, was charged with three felony counts of rape. Two of
the minors involved were under the age
of 10 at the time of the alleged rapes. The third alleged
victim was 14 years old. Porter is a playground supervisor
at Rankin Elementary School and also claimed affiliation with the Boy
Scouts and group which offered after-school tutoring for problem children.

Four black 'youths' gang rape and sodomize white woman on picnic table
Four teenagers - 14, 15, 16 and 17 -stripping, raping and sodomizing an 18-year-old woman at gunpoint on a picnic table in a park, while the woman's boyfriend was forced to sit helplessly at the table throughout th ordeal. "Everybody had sex with her and then we left," suspect Kelvin Leon Lightfoot, 17, told police. Lightfoot; his brother, Kenard Rawshawn Lightfoot, 16; and cousins Rashard Leon Garnet, 15, and Travon Montra Garnet, 14 may be tried as adults. They came upon a couple sitting at a picnic table. suspect in the Nov. 5 home-intrusion rape in Palo Alto has a 25-year record
of burglary, rape, robbery and escape.. Police charged Stanley Vernard
Wells with raping a woman in her

residential burglary and unlawful sexual penetration. If Wells
is convicted he could face "100 years to life" under California's

Fredrick
Evins is accused of kidnapping, raping and killing convenience store manager
Rhonda Ward, then
leaving her body in a Spartanburg County orchard. "The evidence will
show that while Fredrick Evins was out having his party and making
his stops, Rhonda Ward was
lying dead on the hard, cold ground of Gano Road," assistant solicitor
John Anthony said. Evins is also accused of killing Damaris
Huff in a Spartanburg park in 2002. A date for that trial has

Man
Accused Of Biting Police Dog - Dog's Ear Nearly Bitten Off  Police
say a man bit an officer and his dog Friday after trying to stiff a cab
driver on an early morning fare. Mark A. McClarty of Kansas City,
Kan., is charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and
stealing. Capt. Rich Lockhart said
McClarty broke the skin on an officer's hand when he bit him. McClarty
then nearly bit the ear off the police
dog. The officer was treated at a hospital, while the dog's

James
Murray Jr behind bars for having sexual relations with three underage girls Detectives
say 54-year-old James Murray Jr. of Sarasota had illegal sexual involvement
with two 15-year-old girls and one
12-year-old girl.
The incidents date back to June of this year. Murray is charged with lewd and

-- A man who told authorities two decades ago that he
killed 13 women but was never charged with murder stands trial Monday
for the stabbing death of a 14th woman, whose body was found in an alley in 1979.
Coral Eugene Watts is set to be freed in 2006 after serving time in Texas
for burglary with intent to murder. But first he must face a first-degree murder
charge in Pontiac for the death of Helen Dutcher
in the Detroit suburb of Ferndale. If convicted, Watts faces a mandatory life
sentence without the possibility of parole. Michigan does not have the death penalty.

with African-sounding names charged with rape and sodomy of woman at motel  Prosecutors
charged two men with rape and sodomy in connection with an attack at a motel.
The woman told police she met the men at a bar in Missouri, they had a casual
conversation, and they invited her back to their motel room to party. But the
victim alleges Stanslaus Mutua,
22, and Felix Oduol,
23, forced themselves on her. The woman said the men told her one of their girlfriends
would be at the room. But no one else was there. She claims one man raped her

sex offender arrested for indecent exposure and breaking into woman's home ARLINGTON,
Texas -- A registered sex offender is back behind bars in Arlington after police
say he broke into a home and exposed himself while asking for a 'sexual favor.'
The victim told police she woke up and found Joseph Belson in her home
early Tuesday morning. She said Belson touched her and then asked her for a 'sexual
favor' as he exposed himself. Belson was arrested. He has two prior convictions

Evidence Leads To Arrest In Bible Store Killings  Prosecutors
charged a man in a double murder at a Raytown Bible bookstore last month. Kellen
C. McKinney, 27, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two
counts of armed criminal action in the deaths of John
Caylor, 79, and his wife, Mildred, 76. A customer who had gone to the
Caylor's Bible and Book Store noticed the door to the business was locked and
looked through a window and saw a body on the floor. Police found the Caylors

girl raped by black in church court yard The
teen was sitting in a church court yard around 8:00pm on October 26 when a man
approached her and began speaking to her. When the victim began to walk away the
man grabbed her, forced her to the ground and raped her. The victim was able to
escape and make her way to a friend's house. The victim describes her attacker
as a black male in his late teens to early 20's, 5'8" to 5'10" tall,

Fired
employee charged in Arby's killings 
A fired fast-food restaurant worker in West Milwaukee has been charged with first-degree
murder of two co-workers in a robbery that netted about $2,500. James Walker
was fired from his job at the Arby's five days before the slayings. He allegedly
promised a former co-worker $500 to help him rob the restaurant. Michael Reit,
20, was charged with being an accomplice and was expected to testify against Walker
who dragged Nicole Joslyn and Alan
Lowrie into the freezer and executed them. Police

Sex
offender indicted on 21 counts including child molestation The
murder of 12-year-old Ashleigh Moore
left Savannah in shock. Investigators think Bobby Buckner, the man who
was living in Ashleigh's home, was involved, but he was never charged. The district
attorney's office indicted Buckner on 21 counts in all, including child molestation.
None of the charges involve Ashleigh. But police say the indictment stems from
information they discovered as they investigated her death. Ashleigh disappeared
from her Southside home in 2003. Right away, they arrested her mother's boyfriend--Buckner--for
a probation violation. He is a convicted sex offender and was not supposed to

Spots Jamaican Kidnap-Rapist Attacker On NBC Show  A
man is facing rape and kidnapping charges after his alleged victim recently spotted
him appearing as a contestant on the NBC reality show "Blind Date."
Ulrick White, 31, was nabbed in connection with the 2003 attack of the
woman. The victim told investigators she was watching TV when she heard a female
"Blind Date" contestant refer to White by his nickname, Aswah.
After identifying White--and his distinctive Jamaican accent--the woman
recorded the remaining portion of the program and provided the videotape to detectives.

Accused of Killing 6 Ala. Relatives Heads to Trial Relatives
of Westley Devon Harris, accused of killing
six family members in rural south Alabama, paced outside the courtroom
with the families of the victims. Harris, 24, is accused of killing his
girlfriend's parents, three brothers and grandmother on August 26th
2002 at their rural homes in Rutledge, about 50 miles south of Montgomery because

Texas:
Condemned murderer of 75-year-old woman dies in apparent suicide HOUSTON,
Texas (AP) -- A death row inmate was found hanging by a sheet in his cell in an
apparent suicide. Deon Tumblin, 27, was found Tuesday evening, officials
said. Efforts to resuscitate him at the scene failed and he was pronounced dead
in the prison infirmary. The prison system's inspector general's office was investigating.
Tumblin had been condemned for strangling a
75-year-old woman at her home in 2000, then taking her car. -

man convicted of fatally stabbing and beating a 70-year-old man was executed  Lorenzo
Morris, 52, made no final statement. As the lethal drugs began to flow, Morris
closed his eyes, took one deep breath and sputtered twice before being pronounced
dead six minutes later.Two of victim Jesse Fields' granddaughters and his daughter witnessed the execution. Arrest Serial Rape Suspect Luis Acosta In Brooklyn The
NYPD has captured an escaped prisoner, Luis Acosta, an alleged serial rapist
is now in custody. Police consider Acosta a dangerous predator. He's accused
of 16 sex crimes in the past five years, striking in the Bronx, Queens and
Manhattan. His youngest victim was nine years
old. He was dubbed the "plumber rapist." Detectives say he
gained entry into apartments, claiming he was there to fix a leak. Acosta was
convicted in August of raping nine girls and
women, ranging in age from 13 to 58, in a spree of knifepoint assaults.
