told him she was pregnant. The woman needed stitches. He is dark skinned

Negro accidentally kills 13-year-old Hispanic girl Oklahoma
City - A 13-year-old girl is dead following a shooting in the metro. Liliana
Miramontez was reportedly hit by a stray bullet from a gunfight. Now
22-year-old Patrick Brunner is in the county jail charged with first-degree
murder. "Miramontes was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time."

"Violent sexual predator" Robert Patton, Jr. accused of raping 37 women

grand jury indicted the man accused of being the Linden-area rapist on 135 criminal
counts involving 37 women. Robert Patton, Jr. could face life in prison,
because in addition to the rape charges, the prosecutor wants him convicted as
a "violent sexual predator". Police had originally said they could link
Patton to 11 rapes through DNA, but they have since connected him to 26 more.

Cunningham said she was the last woman Robert Patton, Jr allegedly
raped the day before he was arrested. "He told me if I opened my eyes,

Tragedy:
Three Birmingham police officers were shot and killed  BIRMINGHAM,
Ala. -- The officers have been identified as Carlos
Owens, Harley Chisholm and Charles Robert Bennett. Police believe that
the officers were shot by SKS automatic rifles as they approached a house to serve
a warrant to Nathaniel L. Woods. An SKS rifle would be powerful enough
to penetrate the bulletproof vests that are a standard item issued to each Birmingham

MAY, N.J. -- Gerald Daniels, 37, was arrested on charges of murdering his
neighbor, 81-year-old Wallace Savitz.
Police arrested Daniels after a fingerprint inside Savitz's apartment matched
Daniels' fingerprints. Savitz was stabbed multiple times on his head and shoulder.

Mandanapu killed his wife -- then partially dismembered her so she could fit

in Leesburg on Friday, and her employer reported her missing when she failed to
show up this week. A maintenance worker found her remains Monday in a trash bin

are looking for a rapist they say broke into an Island Park home and
raped a woman at knifepoint while her husband was forced to lie on the floor
covered in a blanket early Wednesday.The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 165 pounds and last was seen wearing dark pants and a white tank top. Kareem Charged in Peloquin Murder Appears in Court A
16-year-old boy accused of murdering a Savannah woman appeared in court this morning.
Kareem Petty is facing charges in the death of Gloria
Peloquin. "He's a punk kid who just don't have a clue about life,"
said Peloquin's widower, Leo. "He's
going to get his, he's going to get his, cause he might get away with it here,
but he's got to face his maker one day." Leo wants justice done. His
wife was murdered April 22 as she tried to escape her attacker. -

Haitian
migrant sentenced for rape of 12-year-old girl - another Haitian raped 14-year-old Edmond
Joseph, 22, was convicted in of first-degree rape and endangering the welfare
of a child. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison. In 2002, Joseph and
Ygord Beliard claimed they were deejays and lured a 12-year-old
and 14-year-old girl back to Joseph's apartment. Joseph raped the 12-year-old
girl and Beliard raped the 14-year-old. Beliard faces up to 11 years in prison.
After their sentences, Joseph and Beliard will likely be deported back to Haiti.

N.D. -- Chol Deng Chol sits in jail in his adopted homeland, charged
with rape and facing deportation if convicted. His case has embarrassed many
who championed the so-called "Lost Boys of Sudan," one of thousands
of orphans resettled in America. Chol is accused of raping
two teenage girls after a night of drinking at his apartment. He was
charged April 28 with two counts of gross sexual imposition and delivering alcohol

'Recycling' Sniper Identified As A Drifter  IRVINE
— A sniper killed by a SWAT marksman after he wounded two Orange County sheriff's
deputies and a recycling yard worker was identified Monday as a drifter who previously
faced weapons charges in Ohio. Henry Lee Brown, 52, whose last known address
was in San Antonio, Texas, was identified through fingerprints. Still unclear
is why Brown opened fire at a recycling yard in a remote canyon.

migrant living in Ohio Charged In Mall Terror Plot with

indictment charges that Nuradin Abdi, 32, conspired with admitted al-Qaida

radio deejay "Aaron the Saint" pleads guilty to sex with 12-year-old

Ala. (AP) - Former radio personality Aaron Williams, known as "Aaron the
Saint," has been sentenced to jail for a month after pleading guilty
to having sex with a 12-year-old girl.
Williams, 34, of Mobile, pleaded guilty to second-degree rape. Court records show
that Williams, a former disc jockey at WBLX 93-FM, met the girl in a bar, then
carried on an almost yearlong relationship with her, claiming he was unaware of

N.C. -- A Raleigh man suspected of violent crimes against women has died.Charles Kearney was shot in the head by police last month after leading them on a chase. Kearney died Friday night. Police are waiting for an autopsy to determine what caused his death.Kearney had been charged with raping and kidnapping a woman in Raleigh. Allegedly Stole Victim's Car To Make Escape - A man suspected in the stabbing
death of a Livonia trustee may be in Atlanta. Investigators obtained an arrest
warrant for Jamaal Lamar Coney who is accused in the stabbing death of
Schoolcraft College Trustee Richard DeVries
who was found slain in the bedroom of his condominium. DeVries appeared
to have been stabbed several times last Friday. Coney stole DeVries car and apparently
fled the state. He was last seen in the Atlanta area. - (White

man sentenced to death for killing two deputies will be allowed to argue that
he is mentally retarded. Supreme
Court justices granted a limited post-conviction appeal for Eric Snow.
He was convicted of killing Jefferson Davis County deputies Tommy
Bourne and J.P. Rutland during
an escape. Snow is the fifth Mississippi inmate on death row in the past two months
to be allowed to pursue the mental retardation issue. In 2002, a ban on
the execution of mentally retarded defendants was issued by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ex-fighter charged in fatal beating  Albany
-- Former boxer Jo-el Scott was standing over the body of a 59-year-old
woman when they arrived at the scene, police said. As she did almost
every day, Dorothy Royal collected
bottles and cans. Royal was beaten and sexually assaulted by a former boxing heavyweight
contender, Jo-el Scott. He has been charged with her murder. Scott,
a convicted rapist who prosecutors contend was high on crack cocaine following
an all-night binge, allegedly grabbed Royal and began pummeling her, breaking
bones in her face as he sodomized her on the ground. A passer-by heard
Royal's screams and called 911, but two arriving officers who said they saw Scott
standing over her body were unable to prevent her death. - (more
